    As an American, BBQ is one of my favorite cuisines, and pulled pork is one of my favorite meals! So I'm glad you enjoyed it all 😊Around here, every BBQ restaurant has their own BBQ sauce, and every region in the country has their own *style* of sauce (some regions use more vinegar, some use more brown sugar, etc.). Finding a restaurant that has really delicious sauce is one of the best feelings 😊
    I wonder what you all thought of the sides? The cornbread, mac and cheese, biscuits, etc. are almost as important to a BBQ meal as the meat itself.

    @Gungho73 Před 5 měsíci +2

    For those Americans unaware, one of the bigger compliments/considerations the Korean people can do to show their enjoyment is to make/share food for one another at the table. When they make the brisket sandwiches for one another, that's not a fun social experiment. That's them showing the consideration for the other at the table. Koreans are a people who don't eat to live, they live to eat. Social gathering is very important and that's why doing such things at a meal is considered a big sign of respect/consideration. As an American I genuinely appreciate that aspect of their people.

    Awesome. Native Texan here, love to see it. My wife introduced me to a bunch of new asian food (she is Cambodian), and among them was Korean food and it is excellent, my favorite is spicy pork and squid.
    It's a shame they only got to try pulled pork and pork ribs! They really needed a good sliced brisket, smoked chicken breast, and maybe even some smoked turkey, but absolutely brisket and chicken. Oh and a good sausage, like a jalapeno cheddar.

    A lot has changed in Korea since I was there. I hardly recognize anything or any place.
    I'm overjoyed to see it and like to think I played my small part.
    The last time I was in the ROK was in 1975. I was deployed to Camp Rice/Camp Garry Owen in Yongjugol from Mar '74 to May '75. I served with C trp 4th sqdn 7th US Cavalry, assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, 8th US ARMY. I turned *18* on the *DMZ.*
    Wishing you all the best! ; )
