Mishimoto Racing thermostat for Jeep 4.7L- A great idea with a fatal flaw!

It's a great idea- it just needs some work to improve. I've been battling a temp issue since I put this thermostat in, and I feel like a doofus for not swapping the tstat right off the bat. Part swapped, and presto!
Like I say in the video, I want to see the product improve, so that everybody wins. Here's my review.

I bought a mishimoto for my 2014 JKUR and it worked great! For right at 2 months. I sent it back to rugged ridge and I am currently waiting for it to come in

2 years later............. I just bought the Moto Rad 180* and it looks just like OEM and lowered the temp and seems to be working great. It was also $14.07 shipped sooooo, yeah.

I am running one of these, also. No issues with the Motorad tstat.

Did you use the Motorad 416 or 420?

Mine failed as well, 3/4 temperature on gauge...

they fixed the oversized issue, i just got it in the mail looks silimar to oem bottom

You have to take out the gasket and reuse the old one.
