Managers are incentivized to deploy capital and many would like to get deals done before 2H of 2024 with the presidential election

A lot of this money was pulled from Wall Street and other markets early 2020 in anticipation of the great doom, supposed to have been brought about that year. While the exodus did cause a stock crash, the impending doom did little for the new portfolio, and the real estate gulps also produced minimal returns. Now the cash pile has nowhere to go. Walmart & Amazon capitalized fairly well.
