To see Kristin identify that Ohn is visibly upset, and to make the move forward to provide comfort is so powerful...at Worlds..it shows the character of these women, and the friendship/respect they have for each other. 24:29 timestamp
It's the most wholesome thing I've seen all day (probably all week) and it's a testament to how hard that course is on the players regardless of the weather. In these conditions it is probably gruesome.
one of the many reasons I love watching FPO so much
Kristin is such a classy competitor. Ultimate sportsmanship regardless if she's dominating or struggling.
It’s not that Ohn is struggling, its that Ohn is injured. Get well Ohn 💙
That’s pretty much what they said.
I don't want to speculate too much, but I've always worried about the way she throws forehands. Looks like a lot of torque on the arm/shoulder.
Ohn just announced an hour ago on her instagram that she has withdrawn
@@Dr.Acula76 I think so as well
That putt at 31:58 is heart breaking. She can’t even spin it. Hope she makes a full recovery and comes back strong.
To see Ohn upset/sad really makes my heart hurt. Get well Ohn, we all want you happy and healthy!
Thank you to the two hot geese for their time and energy, i absolutely love hearing them.
What a great start from Silva, I was really hoping we'd get to see her on lead card tomorrow. Still plenty of time to get back up there though!
@@MegaLaban12345 Silva Saarinen, she's won 4 Euro Tour events this year and came 2nd in the European Championships and 3rd in the Finnish Championships. Incredible putter.
Yep! She definetly is a lean, mean putting machine.@@Villakarvarousku
great production guys Jomez has the best guys in the business....
Ohn grabber her elbow after the first hole, she was even crying while walking between the holes on the front 9 and was consoled by Kristin. Probably cause Ohn is such a badass competitor that she was wanted to give Kristin a run for her money but feels like she can't cause her elbow.
So sad to see. I really feel Ohn must have been super hungry to compete in worlds this year. To suddenly feel you just aren't going to be able to do it on the very first hole of the tournament must be ROUGH.
Hoooonk!
Great round ladies!
Ohn is still the happiest player even on a rougher round.
6:48 Is Paige allowed to move those sticks from her run up? I thought the guys made a big deal of that on one of their practice rounds talking about naturally occurring debris that can't be removed from the run up and how bad a rule that is?
I can't say for sure, but I believe there was also discussion in one recent practice round about that rule being reversed.
I'm really glad to see Silva here at Worlds. She is a fantastic player and I expect to see great things from her.
My heart goes out to Ohn. I wish she was in her top form. Life is what it is however. It was difficult to watch this play in such poor conditions. I don't even want to think how it was to actually BE out there playing in the pouring rain.
I would find this weather to be so demoralizing. Every unfriendly tree kick caused by mis-released, wet discs....the rain would be steaming off me - having a chronic rage fit. It's admirable every time they're missing and not quitting the tourney in anger. Such pros!
Not to be a d@$& but you've never been in the rain before with a towel and rosin bag? It's not ideal but people acting like it's a tragedy makes me want to find a new sport
@@southbeachtalent I know a bit of water won't kill you. Tragedy is way too heavy a word for sure. What I'm saying is, I would be annoyed as hell and clumsy enough to end up throwing wet discs and generally just letting it all get to me. So seeing the pros staying level-headed is admirable, is what I'm getting at.
This reminds me of the first year in 99 at usdgc it poured so hard that It was hard to even shoot but they never called the round and it lasted 18 hole it was nuts
THANK YOU JOMEZ for showing the scores as if everybody just played the same hole, thank you for listening!
This is "The BIG ONE"!
Hooonk!
Who's doing the men's coverage
how dare you asks this very sexist question, this product is the best and is totally not losing money for James, equality is important for the 20 FPO players that train full time.
@@tjtennisicmroll2k just a question chill out
when is mpo coming lol 10 hours ago since fpo
No MPO coverage this year?
how dare you even ask, you need to accept what the disc golf lords give you because equality.
GO SILVA!
Heartbreaking to see Ohn struggling, uplifting to see her smiling on 18 🥲
Did ohn just play every hole with a 12 speed star destroyer?
That is Ohn's game in a nutshell. Crank over on a crazy overstable destroyer and make incredible putts (when she's not injured).
Kristin and Ohn were the two hottest players in disc golf coming into World Championship. So, it was so unfortunate to see her taken out of the competition by an injury. I think she was the only player in the field that could take down Kristin.
Coming from a 27 year old
man, this is the best women’s sports and coverage on the planet.
26:39 holy 💩! That’s why she’s the best in field. That’s the kind of shot you see Ricky and Paul pull off.
Congrats Kristin. 😂
only 28k views, seems like with this level of production this video would lose money, I wonder why the videos last week had like 200k views?
Why do they refer to Missy as "Big Money Missy"?
They mentioned it on the front nine, she plays best at the big events.
Back 9 first? 🤷🏼♂️
Paige Shue must be tiny. The discs look so big in her hands!
T9 honk
Heartbraking for Ohn who looks like the most positive women on tour... Get well soon and be back for the revenge !
I don’t think Ohn has a mild injury. She’s clearly not herself, and I really feel for her! Get better Ohn!
Why do those transitions remind me of Doritos?
I've never seen Ohn not having fun before, even when she is struggling. Hope she doesn't hurt herself worse by playing through the pain.
Honk!
Our heros battle the rain and power thru.
Can they stay strong and keep there focus?
Join us for the back back 9!
their
Somebody please talk some sense into Ohn. She needs to withdraw. She's going to make this a permanent injury.
You’re a doctor?
@@waynebryant1857 It's common sense man. After the very first throw on the front 9 she immediately grabbed her elbow. She was grunting loudly after each forehand tee short on the back 9. She is injured, if you continue to play while injured you can do permanent damage. She is not competitive in the tournament at this point.
@@Dr.Acula76 give her a break. winning the world championship is the biggest achievement she could ever make in her career. of course she is going to fight for it as hard as she can. especially coming into the tournament this hot. she is a true competitor. she gave all she possibly could to give herself a chance. Have you never taken a risk to have a chance at greatness or made a questionable decision in your life? Then again I guess that's why you're not playing the world championships...
@@Dr.Acula76 and she has dropped out. she gave it her best chance. you can respect it or call it senseless. I prefer the former.
@@Dr.Acula76 Apparently it's the first time in her career she DNFs in a tournament. And coming hot off her win 2 weeks ago I can see why it must have been a tough decision
Commercial every 3 minutes is so much fun.
You haven’t figured it out yet? You either pay for your entertainment with ads for your time or you pay for a subscription so you don’t have to watch ads. Welcome to reality where things cost money… maybe you’re young and haven’t had to face reality. FYI, there’s even a fast forward option so it seems even more petty when you complain about it.

Great production joMez! But miss the old music...
At this rate itll be over by the 3rd. Kristen on track
First!
Your babysitter must be so proud.
yall work so hard and i know it, but you post soo slow compared to the rest of the disc golf media. im always spoiled by the the time i get too watch my favorite commentators (Jomez).
block everyone else, they deserve it
good compromise, you're right haha@@tjtennisicmroll2k
😲Controversial Take: You’re hurt and forcing yourself to play, possibly doing even more damage to yourself. I get that it’s the most important tournament of the year but that’s also the reason you shouldn’t burden your card-mates by breaking down into constant sobbing. Like most sports DG is also a mental game. Kristen is her friend and a very nice person but she’s playing worlds, you should drop out or stop putting your burden on others. I’m a Ohn fan but that’s not a great decision on her part.
