Kristin thought she needed more McBeth comparison so she tanked the first round so she could comeback and dominate, classic beast move…
Good plan!
Gotta call 7 birds a Scoggins. That woman is a living legend.
Ohn's attitude is so amazing to watch. She smiles and waves to the crowd at every tee shot, shrugs off and laughs at a bad shot, pumps her fist and runs in every good shot, cheers on and fist bumps everyone else's good shots, plays through injury, is over 40 and, if it wasn't for KT, would be crushing everyone this year. She epitomizes sportsmanship.
We all need to have more fun out there!
Kristin decided not to lay up that last putt cause she didn't want it to cost her that 1000 rating.
Spoiler disc 🥏
Thanks to Jomezpro and the geese for the amazing coverage!
She's just so good, and such a pleasant person. Amazing to watch.
It's been incredible to see the geese grow their game as well. Best commentators out there (regardless of division) if you ask me.
Maybe the greatest star of all in disc golf, men and women.
Man, that was an amazing finish! Both my favorites going head to head, but also some big arms that could change the game with some more accuracy. One thing that was mentioned, but I feel like shouting out is Tattars ability to find gaps in the middle of nowhere. Amazes me!
Hopefully, Latitude 64 will give her a raise.
With the amount of Kristin tattar stamped discs I'm purchasing, they certainly can afford it 😂
@@angmarforever4295 They can afford it anyhow. Very good profit for Latitude 64.
Can we talk about how Kristin's closest competitor was 42 years old, with an elbow injury, and below average power even when healthy? Ohn is a marvel, and we do not deserve her.
Ohn's rally in this last round was seriously impressive. She's a total badass. Hope she's able to get fully healed up in the off-season!
This proves just how bad the FPO division is. It's hard to consider them professionals.
This is at a time when the field is as good or better than it ever has been, it's crazy Ohn is ranked number 2 in the world.
Ohn is to FPO what Michael Johansen was to MPO a few years ago. She plays a very limited bag with extreme control in her limited range of options (shot selection and distance) and makes a higher than average number of putts at all distances with extreme confidence regardless of the consequences if she misses. And she has that unique ability to smile, forget about the last shot between her turns, and then pour her focus into the next shot with total commitment. Regardless of layout, she's always in the mix because she hits HER shots.
@JustaDudeTryinToLearnPiano Don't let it get to you. They always managed to crawl out from underneath their bridges and try to be edgy with their garbage takes. Not even worth validating them by interacting with them to be honest.
The best FPO tournament to watch all year, backing Henna to bounce back with a major next year.
She doesn't have the putting
Yeah she really has to work on that putt still. Can't be air-balling multiple times well inside the circle. That's something I do, not too major champs. She could have been right there with Kristen had she been putting well
I feel for Henna. Putting yes, but maybe even more the mental game?
You asked what to call 7 birdies in a row. Since Ohn did it call it a "Scoggins". It was amazing how Ohn still turned in a great round and got a podium finish playing through an injury. Just love Ohn.
Love this idea.
My thoughts too.
8:42 lol. Kristin in background looking fierce as she’s clapping for Ohn. This is the moment she gets serious
Kristin said it: I think i am not THE BEST at anything... Well, mentally she is the best for sure and she is very good at everything, no weak spot and that makes her THE BEST overall...
But i would also like to mention her forehand, i think it is the best, she uses it so often and it works so good! Congratulations, you earned and deserved it. Greetings from Germany!
she is the best of being the best combined. Distance, sidearm, putting.
And she's the best at being consistent. She's not perfect every weekend, but she still demonstrates more smooth consistency than many others in the field, week in and week out. This goes a long way.
On a good day she's up there with the best putters.
@@eudyptes5046 Haha, check the stats dude :)
@@bsmithhammer True... Best at being consistent and mentally like i said, i think these both attributes are tied together!
I also love how the glass trophy was in the shape of superman/supergirls chest emblem…so fitting for what Kristin achieved this year… :) congrats Kristin, and a big shout out to all the other FPO players…you all played amazing!
Henna fan!
Great tourney
I❤FPO
This was so sick. That streak from Ohm. And Kristing making history. I really hope FPO just keeps growing, for if it does we are in for a ride.
Congrats to Kristin ❤ But can we talk about Ohn's new course record! What a finishing round 💪
6 in a row? Ohn-believable!
7 in a row?
Ohn-real!
2HG are the best. Congrats on final rounds (-4 & -1) Awesome. Thanks for Honks in harmony a few shows ago (I didn't miss it!). And "Wow's" in harmony was a bonus. Many Wow's. Nobody else gets it but I do 😁 (maybe you too). Great tourney. Congrats TIGER Tattar! What a PLAYER!
Luv U guys.
Kristin Tattar is so cool. Keep raising the bar ladies. Somewhere out there, there is a little girl who wants to be just like these competitors. The future of our sport is bright!
6 birdies in a row = 2 hot geese
honk
Hilarious
(two turkeys we never get tired of seeing)
Great job this season Geese and Jomez. Season should be longer, we still have lots of nice weather down south.
I think the issue with extending the season isn't the weather. It's that players are living on the road, mostly in vans or RVs for weeks or months at a time. And with the exception of the top players, most are scraping by without much money or sponsorship in the sport yet.
On tour life Paul and Brodie frequently talk about not being home for long long periods of time or how exhausting the grind is. And Brodie and Paul are much better off (financially and better known) than most players and typically do Airbnbs. But hearing players talk about how tired they are by the end of the season and how grateful they are for the off season, I can only imagine.
@@77surefire They can always have gaps in the season, and players can take time off when they want to.
@@JASmith-sd7go but if you extend the season you will have less pro caliber players, less players overall, and the quality of the event and competition would go down. The DGPT already runs from end of February til mid October which is a really long season. Have you seen all the pushback from players about the PDGA trying to move the Champions Cup until around Halloween next year because of the beetle issue at WR Jackson? I haven't seen a single player say they are happy about possibly extending the season until the end of October. And also all the staff like cameraman, announcers, officials, etc who have no choice to attend or work the event if they extended the season.
There's a reason why all sports have a designated season and don't run year round even though there would probably be plenty of people who would watch it if they did have year round play. People have life's outside of the sport they play and want to have time off. I think this is even more true of disc golf. They aren't flying around in jets spending several days at home each week. Most are on the road and can't afford to fly to events. Not to mention Pro Tour events are 3-4 days and they need at least a day or two to practice for the specific course, time to to drive, it doesn't leave much personal time.
Would it be awesome to watch disc golf year round as a fan? Of course but I understand why they don't run it and also gives us something to look forward to at the start of the season. Maybe they could maybe run smaller events like A or B tiers in off season or even Silver Series. But you have to wonder from a Logistic, cost perspective and player perspective if this is feasible.
@@77surefire I guess I'm just spoiled and will miss the players, 2 Hot Geese and the guys at Jomez.
This was great. You both did a wonderful job commentating!
Tattar is just unmatched. King and Blomroos seem to have the potential to challenge with some amazing shots now and then, but the mental game is not quite there, at least yet. Also, Erica is an adorable goof. Thank you for the coverage!
Wow amazing performance by Kirsten showing her All around talent and this time super scrambling ability. Also much love to Ohn and her unique game and steller hot stretch and final round showing that its not just for the youngings. I hope you heal well and rest up. We want more Ohn next year.
Congrats to Kristin. Wow, great throwing. Great work Ohn, fearless putting. Excellent coverage to Jomez as as well.
congrats kristen. what a player
I would like to congratulate for another great year. Thank you for entertaining us!
Such great coverage!!!
Six in a row is a "Turducken." 😉
6 in a row is a Turducky. A Turducken would be 9 in a row.
My favorite FPO player does it again. Amazing!
Latitude64 is gonna run out of new stamps for Kristin with all her major wins this year.
G.O.A.T. & a class act. Congratulations Kristin Tattar. Pleasure to watch
🐿SPOILER SQUIRREL🐿
Nice final round for both of you hot geese, honk! Enjoyed watching all of the ladies on this course.
You could say that Henna gave away the win, but what I see is that she shot even when everyone else in the top 10 shot under par, and she STILL secured solo 3rd. Same thing, viewed from a different angle.
I would love to see the two hot geese call an MPO round.
That was fantastic. Thank you.
Only 1008 rating for Ohn -8??? The rating system is fundamentally broken.
Huh? It is not weighted for male/female and -8 wouldn't have been near the hot round if MPO played here. This isn't a very difficult course.
Pretty wild year to have witnessed right there.
i think when you have 6 birdies in a row thats when you can start to call it a flock
I would watch it!!
Love Kristin for disc golf. But there was definitely something else out there thst was Ohnbelievable as well.
9:35 an Indian Pitta is also called a “six - o - clock “ bird.
11:48 the Jungle babbler or "Seven Sisters bird" .
18:40 Hillock - hill uhk
If Henna gets those putts dialed in, she will be a force to fear!
@@anthonyjones4043They're still at the top despite that. If you are good enough of a thrower you will be able to compete even if you aren't the strongest putter.
Great job everyone..😊
Tattar better get or be getting a McBeth contract.
Oh stop. She is amazing but doesn't sell nearly the amount of discs that paul does.
@@danday9697 Maybe not here in the states but I bet she sells 10x more discs in Europe than Pablo does. There’s more markets than just America. She’s worth the money!
6 in a row is definitley a 'Hot Goose'
great course
🎼🎶🎵Doin it and doin it and doin it well 🎼🎶🎵 Congrats Kristen!
I was thinking Thumb Wrestling for the FPO division. That way it doesn't get too serious, lol
Hailey buzzed me on hole 11 with that SMASH!
Quite a feat!!!
Erika and Madison, six in a row birdies should definitely be 🥥’s
Kristin Tattar! WOW I've said it several times in the last few years but to me now there shouldn't be any doubt to anyone that she IS the GOAT!
LFG 🎉
6 in a row should be a golden turkey!
WOW
Let's see USWDGC here next year!
Yeah, this is a fantastic course.
Kristin is so good!
Tattar is the modern day Bobby Jones of disc golf!!
you asked for a nickname for 6 in a row, in bowling we call it a 6 bagger, 6 pack, or a double turkey. Since you guys use birds a lot, maybe an osprey? Or make up a 6 "chainer". Congrats to Ohn as well 7 in a row and course record!
Great course, players and coverage, thank you! I would hate to reduce payouts for these awesome competitors, but I have to say I SO loved the lack of advertising on this course. Please don't cover nature with billboards.
Would be really cool if this became a permanent tour stop for the women. Could see this evolving into an even more awesome course with some more use.
What can you say about Kristin that hasn't been said already. That woman has ice in her veins. I keep seeing incredible flashes of King. I'm excited to see how she grows and perseveres. Has one of the smoothest forms on tour.
6 in a row = Sixpack 🤷♂️😊
Undisputed goat.
With two hot geese doing the commentary, maybe reward six in a row with a golden egg.
love that trophy. it looks like the House of El symbol. Supergirl on and off the course.
4 of a kind, yahtzee, and from Nathan Queen, a six pack
At six birdies in a row, maybe choose a random bird 'flock' word, such as a Gaggle or a Skein. 😄(HONK!)
At seven though, we're beyond birds and flocks, only nicknames. Ohn is the Green Goddess. 😎
Tattar is the best best at her mental game. If Henna, Evelina, and Hailey figure that out…the game will be in a great spot.
when is the open coming ? 😪
can someone PLEASE tell me where Erika got that amazing t-shirt?!?
6x Platinum Sombrero
6 in a row is definitely a mechaturkey. 2 turkeys combine to form a bigger more powerful turkey.
6 in a row is a double golden turkey!
Want to name six in a row birdies!?
Three birdies is a turkey
Six birdies is a turduck
Nine birdies in a row is a Turducken
Hot geese!
6 in a row is a golden Turkey!!!
Six in a row is a Turducken :)
If you call 3 birdies in a row a goose I stead of a turkey you could call 6 birdies in a row 2 hot geeese!
Kristin, when she’s on, she seems to even get all the good breaks, get wait to see if Paige comes back? Anyone know if she’s doing better 🤷🏿♀️
Ok Ohn, take some time to recover now so we can see you on all the coverage again next year!
Kat Merch would be the one who would blow her bicep out trying to win the arm wrestling contest. Fo sho. lol
I've never seen 6 in a row in real life... but in the Disc Golf Valley mobile game I call it a double turkey
if 3 in a row is a turkey , make 6 in a row "Pollo Feliz" which is spanish for Happy Chicken lol
A golden sombrero is 4. not 5
Six birdies in a row?...A six pack!
6 in a row is a six pack;)
7 is hevean in row
Does Philo call 6 in a row a "ham-bone"? Or is that just what he calls 4 in a row?
Turkey 3, ham bone 4, Yahtzee 5, six pack 6
6 birdies in a row should be a turduckin
6 down should be called a Turkey vulture
Thanks for the coverage! Commentary criticism: Please do not try and "make bets" or predictions. This is post-production, therefore, ya'll already know the outcome. This type of commentary will only lead to spoilers.
6 birdies: wild Turkey or a 6 pack. Plus loved meeting you this weekend! Helping Calvin tie his caddie bib Sunday. Honk!
6 in a row = Hot Tamale
Six birdies is a wild turkey or a six bagger.
6 birdies in a row should be called a hex (Greek for 6, as I n hexagon).
So you put a hex on the competition!
