Vikings aren't doing this with a Rookie hopefully future franchise QB. Jefferson probably hanging out here because he knew it would bring him the most attention.

The Oline is still the biggest question mark. If you're going to play the game of if they are on the field.... then that has to start with the offensive line! Both Tackle and AVT are coming off injuries and surgeries. If you can't keep the 40+ year old QB from taking a beating every gameday then there is no hope.
It does seem to help the case that we just traded for cook a year ago and I didn’t see the Vikings trading him either . The Vikings might just decide on a full re build and get the draft capital while the young guy develops. And nothing is more toxic in a locker room then a diva wide out that’s not getting enough targets
We didnt trade for Cook he got cut and we signed him as a FA.
Why would we do this ? We have a receiver of his caliber on his rookie contract and a few other players coming up for contracts .

See thats where i think i need to disagree. Let me be very clear i dont think this move will happen in any way shape or form Minnesota has no incentive to move him, They have a rookie QB making no money and they have the best WR in football to help him with all that being said saying that Garret Wilson is the same caliber as Justin Jefferson is absolutely absurd in my opinion. Garret is a stud no doubt about it but Jefferson is the best WR in the sport. Also you can make the money work not that complicated the core players would stay and you replenish the other players else where and also to be honest a trade for Jefferson would be an all in move in an attempt to win a SB so not worried about the future in that scenario. Going to reiterate the fact that the this wont happen in any way shape or form but the logic of making a move like this is very sound

while i agree its not happening we could totally create the cap space to sign him and i would trade the picks for him. It wont happen but i would go after the best WR in the NFL any day of the week
Justin Jefferson is not going anywhere. The Jets have plenty of WRs. There’s way the Vikings would let him go rn with JJ McCarthy being there.

while i dont think the Vikings would trade him and i think he wouldnt have a problem with the Jets. Coaching staff isnt all that questionable won 7 games with the worst QB in football last year
