This incredible video saved my bacon! Extremely frustrating trying to replace an ignition lock cylinder if you don't know how to do it. With new parts in hand, stopping the video to look and be sure things are lined up right, I was able to get the cylinder in! Thanks so much. 1967 Ford Econoline.
Thank you!! I've been struggling with this for way too long and I haven't been able to find good instructions for it. This was exactly what I needed!
THANK YOU!!!! I’ve got every manual possible for my 62 Tbird convertible, and not a damn one of em explained this process lol. Thanks again!
Thank you! You explained it so much better and not in a hurry. Thank you
Thanks for your finely detailed video. Really appreciate it
Thanks for the video I puttered with the switch a while, nothing to it after watching you.
Thank you! No where in my directions covered this!
This helped sooo much thank you!!!
Thanks a million just saved my life just worked like a charm ty ty ty I didn't know the thing on the inside where ignition lock cylinder goes could turn helped a lot
Thank you, I didn't know how it when in, now to learn how to wire it in
Thanks! This helped me a lot.
Thanks for the information.
Extremely helpful and broke me through the final roadblock changing the locks and ignition on my ‘68 F250 👍🇺🇸
Good info but I want to see them do it on a vehicle. Especially considering the manufacturers of the new lock don't seem to have very tight tolerances and nothing fits quite like it should.
Completely different story when one hand is trying to reach under the dash and compress the spring while th other is trying to get the ill fitting bezel to lock in place.
Very helpful for when I install one in my 65 F100. The key will not turn to remove the old one though so need to figure out how to get the old one out first, drill it out?
Thank you
Thank you!
THANKS, now maybe I can install a NEW assembly since I've been using a screwdriver for over 10 years, seems I could NEVER get the base part installed in the dash due to the spring tension and cramped space, maybe you could do a clip of that?????
They suggest taking gauge cluster face off , usually held by bout 6 screws and gently lay on your steering column with a towel if don’t want scratch anything. That way ya can reach right in with one hand and mate front into each other into slots. My 67 is a threaded style so much easier . Hope it helps. Unless you got it done already
I was trying to remove and I did like it said and the whole thing fell apart and the rods and bearings Inside fell out everywhere not sure what to do now because the main piece is still stuck in there sum how
Ughhhh thank you!!!
1971 f250 it works
Will not lock or turn once in the hole. Then I hit the detent button allowing it to move a little bit for insertion!
Yes thanks. My set had no basic directions at all.
I know this part. I have one where the key will not turn to the left
