Ive celebrated many birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas alone. Christmas always hits the hardest as there always used to be family reunions. The last few years I didn't have enough money to travel to see my family. At first it was gut wrenchingly painful.

It’s nice to see people giving their birthday wishes to a stranger. I know many people who would just ignore them. Don’t get me wrong they’re good people but normally a person would just mind their business, but a kind person they would wish somebody happy birthday.
this makes me sad and happy at the same time when I was young I was going through a lot of abuse and the only person that really showed me love and protected me from my father and mother was my grandma she comes over with gifts and at one point she bought me my own parrot I hide my burns and cuts from her because I know that would Break her heart I really miss my grandma
Honestly even the scripted situation of someone celebrating alone causes physical pain in me. I never thought I was much of a birthday guy, it always just felt like every other day to me. But for my 18th birthday last week, my closest friends got in touch with everyone I like and my parents and planned an entire surprise birthday. I invited over one friend for dinner and when I opened the door, a crowd of 68 people was standing in front of my door. Honestly, that was the best feeling I’ve ever felt in my life and I just want to emphasise the importance of keeping thoughtful and supportive people around you. If you ever feel like you’re doing more for a friendship than the other person, you’re most likely just wasting your time.
That reminds me of how the only ones who celebrated my birthday were games. Animal Crossing to be exact. And Pokémon surprised me once, when I was playing on my B-day. Though this year, on my 21st birthday, a friend of mine, who also plays Animal Crossing: New Horizon, threw a birthday party for me in there! She and I live in different countries, so she planned it there. We were playing like we normally do. She was so eager to play AC:NH and I didn't thought much of it, coz she often behaves like that, when she wants to play something. And when I saw, what she prepared in-game, I was honestly crying. It was the first time someone prepared a secret birthday party for me. I love her. She's a blessing for me.
I had that thing too where i was celebrating my Bday all alone with just me and my dad my mom could not come because she was far far away because of her job now. i was really sad this was a memory because i turn 9 on march 24 but then my dad had an idea to cheer me up so he said we should go outside then when some people like a lady i know was really kind and she said we could put the cake on the table and then when my friends saw that i was having a bday they came and said happy bday it was so nice of a memory bless you all.
