Well can I say something here? You don't have to celebrate every year, but hey, you're turning 40! That's a milestone. You've lived 40 years if you celebrate when you turn 40 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 70 75 80 85 90 95 100 if you make it to 100 or 80. It would be worth celebrating every 5 years as you aren't celebrating leaving year to year. You're celebrating living five years and everything and I feel like that's the most important time.
