I bought this 2023 smart system bike In Canada. It’s a great bike but there’s one issue. After the second day the Intuvia 100 would no longer connect to the controller. My bike shop was very accommodating, and after several attempts to repair the problem, no luck. I was able to return it and buy another Moustache full suspension. It also gave me the same problem as the first one. Now they’re installing the Kiox 300 to my bike. I believe Bosch system definitely has a communication problem between the controller and the display. I’ll know in a few weeks if it works. If not, I will buy a different brand of bike like the Cube Katmandu 625.
the cube is definitely no where near the spec or the ride of the moustache, and it seems like a bosch issue rather than the ebike manufacture. i think you got unlucky, sometimes there are teething issues with new tech, i hope the new moustache works out well for you, please keep us updated. keen to hear your experience
@@FullychargedUK thanks for your input. As you suggested it is a Bosch issue and not the bike. Unfortunately Bosch is difficult to deal with according to my bike shop. They ended up returning the second bike. Though I do feel moustache is a premium bike there were no others to purchase. End of the day I bought the Bulls Iconic 750 full suspension with Kiox display.

I have this one. I love it. very comfortable and very sleek. People don't realise it is e-bike. What I don't understand is that someone places such a garbage front fork like SR Suntour, XCM ATB, HLO and no-name breaks on $5k bike! I just don't understand the logic. First thing I will change is Deore breaks, disks 203/180mm and fox or rockshox fork and make this bike perfect!
It sounds like you are quite hardcore and like customising your bikes which is awesome. However most light leisure riders will find the standard spec totally adequate. Have you seen the trail e-bikes from moustache they come with that spec. Would you like to see a higher spec Xroad from moustache like Xroad 10 with fox and deore as standard? we can sensibly feed that back to moustache for them to bring out an Xroad ltd edition, i think that’s a great idea. Maybe only 100 ltd edition !?
Your assessment of me is correct 😊 I completely agree, and I greatly enjoy this bike, and would buy it again. Excellent bike for commuters.
But again, I wish they squeezed in few better parts for that price. RockShox Paragon is 1kg lighter and same price like original fork. Deore breaks are $50 more expensive than original. But im sure they know that, there must be a reason for it.
I clearly prefer Dimanche 28 or even Lundi 29 bikes.
point taken... we're doing some nice content on these bikes in the coming year so just hold tight!
I think the Moustache Lundi 27.5 2022 will be able to handle this.
the mardi would be better with the front suspension, but those lundi’s are incredible and super stylish
why is this ebike overpriced af? full basic drivetrain the cheapest fork, at cube i get 2x more value at this price range
