I hope to be as good a rider as you one day.

How does the Iron 883 compare to your V-star? Obviously heavier and more power, but how about in terms of comfort, manoeuvrability, ease of operation, etc.?

Well yes the iron is a lot more heavier and feels like it had actual power under the seat. The clutch on the iron is a lot more lighter then my V-Star making it feel like I can travel longer distances with wearing out my hand and comfort wise is hard to say. Irons are crazy customizable machines and I’ve seen all types of layouts for them, some more practical then others of course. Maneuverability my v star takes the cake, I’m so used to the weight on that I’m able to throw the bike around like a ball to where the iron is alot more heavier and slower to move around but that’s most likely because I’m not used to the weight since I never had one

Trying to upgrade from a 250 already? What are your plans to do w the v star after upgrade? Im planning of modding up mine all the way like a garage project and keep the bike i end up upgrading with stock for a while until i decide which way to approach it when it comes to mods.

Yup. I was planning to give my vstar to a friend who wants to get into motorcycles, after I upgrade and get a gixxer 600-750. I didn’t really choose to put any upgrades to it since to me it’s only a 250 and not much performance mods
