I buy a cheap cabin air filter because my wife and I don't have any allergies and the cabin filter isn't as important as the engine air filter. I pay $10.97 for a Super Tech cabin air filter and in fits fine. Plus it's made in the USA. Surely at the price you paid there must be an air flow arrow on that filter. I didn't hear you mention it.!
