Wow! What an awesome group doing such loving work for those who need it. I’ve made one fidget blanket blanket blanket for a dear friend’s daughter. The daughter is 36 but has the intelligence of a 2 year old. She is also nonverbal and autistic. When she got it she wouldn’t leave it alone….even took it to bed with her. I’m in the process of making a second one for her. You have given me so many new ideas. Thank you so much. In case you didn’t know, teachers that have autistic students have asked for these blankets. Something you might consider for the future. God bless each and everyone of you for your dedication to this wonderful project.

You are an amazing group of friends, doing a wonderful and “with love” project!
I’ve worked with Alzheimer’s patients for years and these quilts are very calming and can help a patient have a much more pleasant day!
Thank you for your love and service to people that are sometimes forgotten!

We appreciate this great work helping the local community and many children in Haiti. Kathy Keith has been instrumental in connecting the Haitian children needs to Biscayne Key community thru the church and wonderful organizations like this on. Congratulations! Bishop Jeune

Oh, how I would love to belong to your group! Such warmth, such skill and so many brilliant ideas. I'm in the UK, isolated because of covid-19, though thankfully virus free. I love sewing and intend to join you all in spirit. I'd never thought of the aprons, but they have joined the list of ideas I've learned from you. Thank you so much for such an uplifting and thoroughly enjoyable video. Best wishes to you all!

I LOVE this! I've worked with people who have dementia and I can tell that the fidget blanket would be enjoyed by many, especially someone with Alzheimer's. It's giving me even more ideas! - like a fidgety wheelchair or walker bag, or as I think of making walker or wheelchair totes I'm thinking how much more enjoyable it could be for someone if it has lots of pockets, zippers, buttons and embellishments, sort of along the lines of crazy quilting, but keeping safety in mind! 😉
Thank you for this inspiration! You've all really sparked my imagination (and my heart). ♥️

I recently found out my sister-in-law has dementia, so I looked on the internet & saw your wonderful group of volunteers making fidget blankets for dementia patients. Before I saw your group I was going to purchase online, however they were not interesting, so I had fun choosing different individual fun objects to put onto the blanket. I also embroidered her name, making it more personal.
I belong to a sewing group in our town of Mallacoota. (1,000 residents) and we have like your group made many friends for life & more important we have fun. We also have many great country cooks & eat too much.

Thank you for sharing your ideas. I need to see if they have a volunteer group similar to yours in my state.

I absolutely love this!! I'm on mission to start this project (to add to my other charity sewing) - I do hope I can locate places that will take these blankets/aprons in the DC/VA/MD area. Have to research. Thanks so much for posting this informative video. Such beautiful creations.

Thank you Ev! They really are wonderful! I hope you can find someplace where they will be used. Nursing homes, home health care, hospitals, assisted living, etc.
      Good luck!
