The scenes when joshua came out the exact way fury said he couldn't😂
Say it again, I guess he should come and correct himself
It takes two to tango. It might be that Joshua improved or that Ruiz was totally unprepared or a bit of both. To be honest, AJ didnt look as sharp and dominant as Ruiz looked heavy, out of boxing shape and unprepared.
@@mskidi no Joshua adopted, watch how he fought, he’s a real champion, people are just hating
Fury: He can't change his style and will loose again!
Joshua: Hold my headphones
Who's here after AJ beat Ruiz.
Right here.. put his foot in his mouth
🤣🤣🤣

Meeeeee
Had to come here fury as been quite since last night might be hiding in Wilders back pocket
“Without the right competition, no one can be considered great”
-Tyson Fury
Tell that beyonce "windmill" wilder, 42 fights,3 credible opponents, aj 19 fights,19 credible opponents and people say aj is finished because he has a loss!?smh
Cringe.
@@Sir_Ben Exactly, boxing fans can be pathetic sometimes.
@@Sir_Ben Joshua was a hypejob and got badly exposed embarrassed against Ruiz Jr 👌🏾
19 credible opponents 🤦🏾♂️🤣 Joshua got battered and bruised lucky win against a 41 year old ring rusty Klitschko who Fury had schooled 2 & a half years earlier 👍🏾
@@Sir_Ben AJ avoided Wilder at all costs 😭 stop it
AJ reinvented himself and did exactly what fury said he can’t!
Robert Given true and think he’s dropped the bodybuilding also and that’s helped. Tyson got this wrong but can he match Tyson boxing like he did against Ruiz, no way
Robert Given yes!!
Was thinking exactly the same thing. Well done AJ - proved all the critics wrong!
I'm an AJ fan I think there's something dark going on. I don't doubt AJ's boxing skill or his talent but I just there's something not right....I mean all of a sudden Ruiz is like a weak fighter and can't do much. I did expect a lot from this fight as I wanted a tough competition unlike this one. I hope I'm wrong
@@gabadu529 Ruiz wound up in a stylistic mismatch. He is a fighter that wants a street fight, up close and personal. He believed that just like last time, AJ would stick him until he got an opening and then come inside and fight Ruiz's fight. Instead, Joshua fought almost entirely behind his jab and one-two combinations. He moved laterally rather than forward and back. Ruiz couldn't get him to fight his fight and even when he started breaking clinches, AJ was too quick to get away.
AJ was also very tactical. He didn't throw his usual volume shots, but he threw calculated powershots that went a long way to keeping Ruiz cautious. The sequence surrounding the first round right that cut Ruiz was critical because it put three things in Ruiz's mind: AJ would nail him whenever he gave even a small opening when in range, AJ could hurt him, and AJ had the discipline to do the damage and move on.
These well timed power shots had Ruiz's hands up in high guard almost all night, trying to navigate past Joshua's jab without throwing many lead punches. Adding to this, Joshua knew when to mix up his punches.
As Ruiz began to time his counters against Joshua in the mid rounds, he used Ruiz's anticipation to bait him into incorrectly guarding. Round 6 is the most obvious example. Joshua moved his lead hand as if to jab and Ruiz moved his left hand forward to parry and his right hand to counter over the jab. But as soon as Ruiz began to go for it, AJ snapped a hard hook over his lowered right guard, stunning Ruiz.
And AJ's jab was accurate and heavy, routinely snapping Ruiz's head back.
This all had Ruiz moving forward at a plodding pace, always with his guard up. Making him slower still was AJ's constant feints, foot feints/footwork, and changing direction. Ruiz's hands were always kept busy, moving into position to block perceived threats.
This is a brief, rough breakdown but tl;dr, Joshua's tactics defused Ruiz by depriving him of his greatest weapon: fast combinations at close range. Ruiz couldn't force AJ to fight his fight. None of this was helped by Ruiz not losing weight and in fact coming in a bit heavier which did nothing to help his mobility. Again, moat likely on the assumption AJ was going to fight his fight.
This was actually a very good interview. The interaction between the hosts and Tyson were fluid, nothing felt forced. Very enjoyable.
I concur my G
That’s All Fury
Them shorts tho🤣🤣
Tyson knows he has to play this heel character to build up the rematch with Wilder... but what I like most is that he has such precise boxing knowledge. His breakdown of the Joshua loss is spot-on, and I believe him that Ruiz is going to win again.
I really enjoying watching his interviews... He's super smart, been around the block more than a couple of times. And when you go through a depression, and anxiety issues, it really humbles you. I know from experience. I'm really looking forward to the fight with Wilder, but I'm wondering if DAZN will be carrying it, cuz I thought I seen that ESPN has it. Does anyone happen to know?
“Ain’t gonna go out like Ali” proceeds to completely come out and fight like Ali and win
You really think that performance was akin to Ali? Get your head the sand you ostrich!!
@@Joe-eq5xh no need to insult the man, dude.. and in a way hes right, AJ keeps on moving throughout the fight and his footwork is getting better too if he keeps this up, maybe he could match ali
@@Qu3stove Joshua will never match Ali, behave yourself!
@@Joe-eq5xh well, i said maybe and trust me.. i can honestly say that i am behaving myself

Who's watching after furys been proven wrong af
Me me me hehehe...
Fury is the kind of guy who'd admit to being wrong though, he's a cool cat. I want to see him v Joshua personally. That'd be great.
Gerald Adams how do you know?
I can't lie, Fury has grown on me. He's always been pretty on point with most of his critiques and I like um!!!
Same here
I'm alright with the criticism if it's really constructive criticism, but in combat sports it's mostly pure fighter-bashing, which I absolutely do not stand for. It makes me cheer even more for a guy who gets hate.
Anyways, Fury has always been a fan favorite, is a fan favorite and will stay fan favorite cuz he deserves all public appreciation that there is. Rarely any fighter deserves to be an enemy, if any. These fellas risk their health for your entertainment and no matter who says what, there always MUST be respect towards these athletes.
@@isuckatthisgame I didn't hear him bashing any fighter there. In fact it seemed quit the opposite to me. Even his criticism towards Wilder and Joshua was filtered with respect for certain parts of there abilities

after he hangs up his gloves I hope Mr.Fury would be a ringside boxing commentator 😊👍
James Martin I’m looking forward to him starting his boxing promotion business. Wants to produce heavy weight fighters. Almost like de la Hoya is doing w “Dazn”. Check out his interview on Tyson’s podcast, so good!

I'm glad the heavyweight division is coming back. 10 years ago no one was talking about this division because Klitschko was champion.
It´s not really Klitschko´s fault. Just no-one was in his league, except his brother who was never going to fight him.
Its just that the Klitschko bros were leaps and bounds better boxers than everyone else in the planet.
Boring, effective, dominant.
I stopped watch g boxing after micky ward erra. I've been paying more attention since Fury wilder fight
ElSpewtardo Klitschko Knocked Down Anthony Joshua at 41, when AJ was 26. Klitschko is one of the G.O.A.T.s.

@@demarcodraper4266 yes your right this next time joshua will be methodical and use his jab to keep him at bay and slowly bust him up .probably take him out by the 7th or 8th round .
@DR Evil I thought Tyson's was exhaustion. He was banging hookers in Japan and partying the night before .
You guys are dope. Great interview.
Tyson Fury has to eat every single word on this interview after AJvsRuiz2 fight😅😅😅 AJ is the best of the best
Ruiz Jr . Got robbed of the prize... If any of you think Joshua beat Ruiz Jr . You don't truly appreciate or understand the sport . You're a person who can debate how Mayweather jr is one of the best ever based solely on the record he had
Although Josuha out box Ruiz Jr. He did not beat him, its a lot of politics that went into decision to put the titles back on the now 2× champ. I am looking forward to seeing the 3rd installation of the war. Still after all the hoopla . Wilder is being ducked . By The Joshua camp. I was a Joshua defender a while ago. After looking at the actions pervious to Ruiz Jr having replaced a guy no one , besides the truly Avid boxing fan who steadfast and knowledgeable on the complete sport being a pugilist. I'm convinced that not The Fighter Anthony Joshua but his camp is avoiding Delonte Wilder.
@@brennarisjohnson6101 Ruiz got dismantled. It wasn't exciting, but it was a surgical disection of the man. He threw fewer, landed fewer, and had no answer to AJ's jab. No politics, Ruiz isn't even complaining about the decision. And for the record, not a Mayweather fan, I don't even think he's the greatest of all time in any of the weight classes he fought in (Hearns, Robinson > Mayweather), Ruiz just got beat.
As for ducking...I mean, I could have told you at least 50% if not more of this nonsense surrounding division-wide unification is businesses and another 25% at least is sanctioning body and broadcasting company politics. Of the multiple challenges rumored and official offered by Wilder and Joshua towards each other, we know at least one fell apart due to that nonsense.
@@Nuvendil , I can realize the jab was the excuse of the judges . Also the height ,and reach came into play here in , what was supposed to be a great rematch . Still I think back and remember championship bouts in the grandest division of all of boxing. Guess what ? The champion does not have to be at their tip top game to at the very least get a split decision. Why ? Any of us that know a bit of boxing can explain to the rest of us who don't . You have to beat the champ, the champ does not have beat you . Simple. In June A.J was dismantled, he was disected . By the time the first fight was called by the ref. You , myself ,and everybody who witnessed Ruiz do the unthinkable to a champion who , an hour pervios to the beating he took Ruiz Jr. Was questionably the best of the division. You can realize that the top names of the division are not turning heads in the folks at home . Most people still bring up kilitko ! So if you think politics played no part in a decision to place the titles back on A j ? Ok , you have a right to your opinion. But for me and you too believe that even with the promise that the two time champion of the world has he has. He would have truly put the stamp on the 3rd installation of this new rivalry . I am a Joshua fan. I think his form ,, style and combos are awesome . Then I like at the two battles between Ruiz Jr ,and Joshua . Then I look a the past Six months and how the other champ Wilder has been dominating two classic bouts . And if I was Joshua's camp I would like to believe that Joshua can find a way to win . But Ruiz exposed him in the match back in June . Sad to see, is when Joshua could silence critics and stand in front of the man who did that he didn't . Instead he used his reflexes , and speed to avoid any and all of Ruiz punches. With that said , The current champ out classed the former champ. The 3rd fight I can't wait for. Cause we are going to be different Ruiz Jr. Hunger is a understatement I do believe . Unification will take place in 2020 . I now thinks Wilder will be the one who unifies the titles . But we'll see. Bottom line is that at the end of the day. You need to, you have to, and with out question beat the champ . The champion does not have to beat you.
@@brennarisjohnson6101 Well I guess AJ will have to beat the new champ. The Gypsy King. He can’t.

Great interview straight through -
Like others have said, Fury has grown on me. He seems like a top guy.
I was full of admiration for Fury and the way he handled that draw decision against Wilder. That was one of the worst robberies in boxing but he handled it with real class.

@@meniayeomans5280 Ok, in some fairness, as someone who is also laughing at the retrospective irony, the doubts weren't without cause. The idea of transforming your style to win a fight doesn't have a great track record. Frazier tried it in his second Foreman fight and it didn't work, Joe Bugner tried it with Ali and it didn't work. Most fighters, the moment they get tagged with a hard hit, they fall back on instinct, like with Frazier. Or they just botch the whole new style and lose, like Bugner. It's actually rather surprising Joshua made such a radical change in just six months.
