To be honest, the build quality is not the reason why the Jaguar lost it's foothold in foreign countries, in fact it was the engine. Albeit all the performance improvements and well refining/tuning of the engine could not provide the fun of a pure V8 or even a V6, they either use straight six or 4 cyl engines which are turbocharged, these types of engines are not going to amuse the land of Hellcats and Mustangs...

This point is more true than it seems. Jaguar ke engines jo US me 4-5 saal pehle the, they were more high powered. Jo pehle 45k USD me V6 mil jata tha, wo aaj kal 65k USD tak ja chuka hai. On top of that the 4 cyl engines are nowhere near as powerful as the previous V6 in the same price range. 0-60 ki dhhajjiiyan udd chuki hain and electric car market me i-pace ka proposition itna faydemand nahi hai jitna for example mustang mach e ka hai

How we used to have entry level sedans at almost the price of hatchbacks offering same or better comfort and features? How we all got carried away with puffed up hatchbacks and crossovers instead. You missed the key part that XF was developed under Ford. It became the car that saved Jaguar from bankruptcy when launched under Tata. It made $ 1.6 billion.
First reason I say is that jaguar confuses customers with inconsistent naming of its models.
E-Pace is a hybrid. I-Pace is electric. Mercedes simplified its naming recently and its shows in sales. BMW always had simple model names that emphasises the brand.
Second is that dont have engines to meet market demand. European buy mostly 2L diesel and petrol. They ere late to launch these engines.

Jaguar cars have very less Head Room space. It needs to make something like Volvo S60 Cross Country Hybrid with 40mile and EV.
Then it would click better across all Continenets. Jaguar should also create merchandise and new Segments with in.
Reducing manufacturing and makeing cost comes handy.

Jaguar never tried making a competitor for A class/GLA ,BMW 220i/X1 or Audi A3/Q3 which are making profit out of these entry level luxury cars/SUV category in India and Abroad. Hell even Jeep made a name for itself in India by giving us Jeep Compass which is their entry level offering Abroad and in India currently.
They could have easily done it but no they tried to be like Bentley, Mercedes Benz without actually having the lineup or business model which these brands have .
A 1.5Turbo petrol or 2.0Turbo petrol with 2.0 TDI 4 cylinder engine could have helped them bring the sales but they are lazy and looking for a way out with Electrifying but that won't help because there's just too much competition for EVs worldwide. Eventually they will fail in EVs also if they don't take help from Tata to make entry level EVs in future because when mainstream brands decide to make EVs full time no1 is gonna take Jaguar seriously with their unreliability, lack of flexibility in lineup and stupid price to features ratio just because its a Jaaaag 🤣(Topgear fans will remember the word "Jaaag" by Jeremy Clarkson 😉 ).

JLR cars have been highly unreliable, from the past not just now. This was the main reason Ford could not churn out any money from them. they were like Nissan cars in India, lot of fun with lot of issues. quality was one of the key reasons, and improper after sales support have plagued them always. they were never a stable brand so people are avoiding them now. these are just good looking junk.
another reason of reliability is car life and these one fall short.

In my opinion the biggest problem with jaguar is the repetitive designs in almost all the models and not much major updates over the years in all the models. If you will compare there product with Mercedes or Audi there products gets updgrde regularly n that too genuinely look upgrades both interior n exterior. Jaguar is offering same old design to customers from long time n there interior is no where close to merc or Audi or bmw.

1.Ford acquired Jaguar for 5.3 billion whereas sold to Tata for 2.3 billion. Which you have stated incorrectly in your video.
    2. You missed to mention jaguar was at par with Rolce Royce at one point of time and now struggling to compete with BMW and Mercedes. Which is an important point to be discussed.

Because German companies like Benz or BMW or VAG have qualified engineers, that TaTa doesn't have.
Eg: The Lamborghini was acquired by Audi and VW in 1998 under Ferdinand Piëch. He decided to improve Lamborghini. So Piëch rejected the design of Zagato and Gandini and appointed Luc Donckerwolke to design the the successor of Diablo, which made the Legendary Murciélago.
BMW successfully recarnated Rolls Royce and VW recarnated Bugatti in 2000s
The collabration between Mercedes Benz and Aston Martin improved a lot to AM
