Extremely beautiful Pride. Yes it seems we will, if all goes well, have many big number coalitions t o look forward to: Birmingham Breakaway, Birmingham, Nkuhumas. Kambula, Imbali and of course our 3 Talamati boys. I have heard that the S8 male lost some of his females to 2 males -maybe this why they are pushing more into that area. Can’t wait to find out the dynamics of this gorgeous Pride. Thanks Tintswalo
That pride has always had this number of members. 21
2 plain camp males are getting bigger and hunting buffallo lately..soon enough they will challenge other males, b boys abd northen avoca males are the closest so far.
@@captainpotato6856 Blondie and Mohawk have chased them off 2 times. That is why they are near Mhangeni and Othawa.
@@kimberlylopez9402 good ,i don't want them going after injured blondie or d.m
@@kimberlylopez9402 when the b boys lose their next fight, these 2 will swoop in and try to take over so avoca will be chasing them again .
Africa is truly blessed with the best animals in the world ❤
I love seeing this many Lions. So beautiful.
Amazing to see so many lions in the same pride. Those are some hard working lionesses!💕🦁💕
Beautifull
So majestic! Look at those green eyes! It’s nice to see them hesitant around the vehicle.
Beautiful to see this pride. The moms do a good job of feeding everyone. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing to watch lions and cubs 🦁🐹🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💗💕
What a beautiful Pride look at all those sub-adult males. So exciting I've never seen them.
Beautiful healthy pride. Those green eyes are spectacular & some are so tall! Their looks are a bit different from the SS lions. I cant wait to see their dominant male!
Elle sighting was so pretty!
Great job guys!!
The dominant male is known by Dark Mane Avoca
Wow, how viseral to view them!. Lions r the hypnotic gifts of nature. They're so singular, mighty but yet vulnerable. Their social fabric is unforgiving and their existence is the duality of life and death. It's incredulous how some humans fail to develop an understanding, empathy & compassion for these majestic beings & other wildlife. Learn from the lions, have pride to protect, to care.
I like how they drink and never let their eyes down. Always watching for something sneaking up on them.
Listening to lions roar is my absolute FAVORITE.
It’s so powerful.
Plus it’s kinda incredible that all roars sound different.
I love Lions and this pride is so so beautiful with all the cubs. I really hope most of them will have the chance of growing up !!! The planet needs more lions in the wild !
The Manyeleti is always one of the best places to see lions in the Kruger and Greater Kruger. So many legends have dominated there, and though we didn't see him today, the Imbali male is one of the most impressive males around at the moment. Thanks Alistair for your terrific work.
We couldn’t agree more!
What is it that draws us to watch these fantastic beasts, there power, confidence and strong family ties😍
Stunning and strong pride. They are gorgeous. Love this! ❤️❤️❤️
Properly warms my heart seeing this pride. A new one for me, would really appreciate more uploads on this pride, love the fact they're skittish of vehicles, as they come from an area that doesn't see many vehicles. Wish more of those prides had the space to roam around away from human habitat. 😊
I noticed this right away I hardly ever see lions this skittish around vehicles
Guys u notice the eyes popping out and the reddish hair they have...sooo cool
@@jonmeboi that’s blood lol they had just had a kill
@@iselect1012 ooops lol
Being so close to that roaring - you must feel it right through your body 🦁🦁
Al you really have the best “ office” .. what a way to start the day 😃🐾🐾
Marianne NZ
What a stunning, healthy looking pride. They have certainly drawn the genetic short straw for beauty. And the roaring was an absolute treat. Thank you so much for the upload. ❤🌹
Любимые львы. Живите как можно дольше.🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🍒🍓🍒🍓🍒🍓🍒🍓
They are so red in color! Beautiful.
Amazing how when the elephants came to drink, they all ended up lining up beside each other, no scuffle!
Elephants - true rulers of the plains and rainforest
Thankyou tintswalo for absolutely beautiful footage of an absolute magnificent pride they all look Soo handsome and cute with blood on their fur and seeing shy lions is actually very refreshing. Beautiful beautiful pride
The male sub adults are stunning, there’s one about a year old that has a light coloured tail tuft, a formidable future coalition. Thanks for upload.
I never tire to look at lions. They are fascinating. This pride is really big. I've never seen reddish brown lions before. They usually are yellowish - grey. It is nice of you to keep us informed about the lion dynamics in the region.
That's blood from a kill
Wow!! how about that? a majestic roar i always adore i didn’t watch many lions roaring this is spectacular SUPER PRIDE God bless these amazing animals🙏❤️❤️😍😍 thank u guys for sharing ur beautiful sighting🙏
Wow wow WOW what a great amazing incredible stunning sighting of this gorgeous pride. They are Magnificent looking and are there only 3 young males out of this pride of 21? Also do they only have one dominate male looking over them
Love love love, Wow these lions are amazingly beautiful pretty green eyse.. All covered in blood. Good to see a large number of healthy lions! Thank you for posting!
Beautiful pride! I love their almost red coats. They remind me of Red Road.
red coats = blood. they just finished eating.
Being in the right place at the right time helps get some great safari videos. Most will never see that many lions and elephants in the same place at the same time. Thanks.
Probably some of my grand children
I learn a great deal about life from these animal videos coming out of Africa. Just makes me understand all the more the ills of human beings and our societies- all the pretense under the name of civilization.
What an awesome big pride... The more videos you put out, the more I'll watch!! I just Love your channel!! Thanks for all your efforts!!!👍😘👍😘
I’ve only just found your channel, I love bug cats, leopards and lions are my favourite, thank you for all these videos
ما شاءالله ما شاءالله ياربي والعيون والجمال سبحانك يارب
Majestic and breathtaking - I have never seen such a large pride and in healthy condition thank you so much for sharing .. looking forward to more clips and following their progress ♥️🐾
Marianne NZ
That’s awesome roaring
Nicely coloured lions too
This lioness is doing super, calling like a lion!
It's always exciting to watch these beautiful lions! Your videos are the best as far as I'm concerned. You don't speak a lot and that is so refreshing. Many others talk almost constantly. Thank you for the great job you do! 😉🇺🇸
Such a good looking group & gorgeous Lions
They are so fresh looking. May sound weird but it's like they haven't been around vechiles or people. I can't explain. Like untainted. I really like this channel.
I enjoyed this video so much! The lions are always wonderful to watch. The elephants are also fascinating. Thank you! 🇺🇸
wow that wa amazing
Your vids are class lots of love from Ireland
beautiful llions
Thank you, Al and TSL. Excellent images.
Unbelievable quality.
They are so beautiful 😻
I love the elephants 🐘 too!
Great looking pride with many young males that could become future kings. Where are the males that rule this pride? They must be formidable for this pride to have so many healthy adolescents. Great stuff. Would love to see follow ups on them.
The Imbali male rules this pride-we have only seen him on his own, we are not sure if he has a coalition partner-but he has an incredibly successful pride
Huge and beautiful
Bruh. The Pride Male here must be so strong and dominant.. I can't imagine that there's only ONE male lion that rule this pride. He's sick af!! Bravo!! Must be protected!!
Fantastic! (cheers for the upload).
Awesome
Nice footage ... thanks for posting" Big Ups 👍 I love the Talamati Pride 👍💫
빵빵한 프라이드~~
I agree with others would love seeing more of this pride.
gourgeous pride! thanks
Fantastic Video of an area I used to camp in prior to 1994
Awesome content with that pride the best my God look over them🙏bro🐅👑
Do you think the lioness that came late is the matriarch? She was greeted with alll the cubs. That was so cute.
A lot of these lions had some big meals, they are covered in blood.
Very therapeutical to watch great 👍 stuff
Thanks 👍
How are superprides made? Are they usually related prides? Amazing sighting of these big cats! Although they aren’t my favorite animal, they’re still my favorite big cat. These superprides would’ve been more frequent thousands of years ago, before civilization. It’s a shame that only 20,000 lions are left in Africa.
They are made when many cubs are born to a pride and survive to adulthood, but then they usually split and made another pride for themselves.
Superprides are usually created from the possibilities of a pride having and raising a successful litter of Cubs. Male Cubs are forced out of the pride from their fathers at a certain point of age but female Cubs can stay in the pride for generations. So I would assume if you have more female Cubs then that is how you have a super pride.
@@deathvalleydemon41 yes, but even then females will split if number of females are too big in a pride and they will form a breakaway pride.
You've now put them at jeopardy?? Dont you understand what you're doing with your camera? Does the boss pay well?
Getting them used to your car?! Or all cars!?! By seeking them you've given them a death sentence from Africans.. 🤔 Plain and simple.
@@dizzyskilla8576 apparently you have no understanding of reserves and antipoaching teams .I hate to burst your bubble but it is not just Africans who do the poaching. Please educate yourself before assuming things.
You should make a behind the scenes video showing us how you prepare for each outing. What safety equipment you bring, how much food, etc.
They live in an area where they don't often see many vehicles. Lucky for them!
⭐️🏆⭐️➰Beautiful
Do these lions have especially dark fur or is it a trick of the light? They are really beautiful.
If you could film and playback at 60fps or 4K, it would be truly impressive. Nice video none the less.
Wow, fantastic stuff. What pride is it? (Im asking before video finished so disregard if it gets said.)
Must be the relics of of the old Skybed pride seen in Orpen area 10 years ago
It might be Peter, that big imbali male if you've seen him, would not look out of place with the big old Skybeds and Kingfisherspruit pride you used to capture.
🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘💕💕💕💕
Must be a good day to be a Lion and safely drink without a croc or hippo trying to start trouble.
They are beautiful good looking male
😍😍😍
A pride of 21? Boy! That is death sentence for all rivals and prey within or around that territory.
Wow very intense they need a bath
It should be "Manyeleti" in the video caption instead of the misspelling.
10:45 " This is gonna be a beautiful male lion one day".
The Lion winks at him. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
What would happen if you tried to get them to roar by making a roaring sound??
Did anyone else notice the one cub has a white tipped tail?! Versus black.
Didn’t catch that the first time watching.
3:22 into the video.
Hey, what time the 21 lions pride will come to the place,? Could be the traffic?
L ' orda sempre pronta a cacciare , un minimo rumore li tiene vigili e attenti .
Chi sara' la prossima vittima ?
Great video. How many pride males are there how many adult females are there and how many cubs?
A few of those sub adult males did have a fair amount of mane on their neck.. Play must have been close to 2 years old.
There is 1 pride male for now, 5 females and the rest are sub adults and cubs
@@tintswalovirtualsafari Thank you for that info. But how can only one male pride leading lion hold that pride? I hope all the sub adult males have another year or so in this pride before there is a pride takeover.
@@rsb512 he is a big athletic male, a bit like the Red Road male who holds down the Nharu pride.
@@rsb512 We are still not sure if there is another pride male but yes for one male to look after a pride of that size is amazing and the Imbali male seems to be pushing the Avoca male and Talamati further west. So yes at moment he is holding his own but if other males do enter the reserve it may be a different story for him
@@jzkramer Thank you for the information. He is a special male lion. But for 1 pride male to lead and keep a pride of 21 lions is mind boggling. I hope the cubs and sub adults make it.
Who’s the mates if the S8 pride?
Lion suprise with vehicle
Something is different in their face than the average lions I have watched overall. Different breed?
A bit different in that they come from the east of Manyeleti, where usually it is from the north west - Timbavati that we see Manyeleti lions originate from.
I saw 21 lions but it was just 6 or 7 actually.
I wonder why they always tend to drink so close to each other... is this some sort of defense mechanism against crocodiles?
That and it’s also a social bond as well within the pride.
Could definitely be, maybe youngsters just feel comfortable drinking next to adults
sorry trying to catch up here, so where are the father of the 21 super pride?
As Buffalo i would get very nervous!
How many pride males?
What was the kill by the way, pride didn't lead to kill site?
It was a small kudu, we did get to kill site but with that many lions it was finished off quickly
I show my dogs these video just to let them know how lucky they are with clean filtered water twice everyday, fresh food, treats and being able to nap all day. LOL
I frankly don't think your dogs care 2 Schitts lol
Is this the same pride that had all the cubs of all ages about February 2021?
The video was called 9 cubs in the rain, or something.
This pride of lions look darker. More orange colored.
They have lighter eyes too.
I think you're talking about the Nharu pride, they have nine cubs.
can you tell me the lionesses of Talamati pride whose daughters they are? Did I know that some were HairyBelly's daughters and the others?
Talamati broke away from the Nkuhuma
@@mtho And they did long before the Matimbas took over the pride
@@mtho I wanted to know who the Talamati lionesses are daughters ... I knew this ...
I read a comment bfore, these lioneses father might be mapogos or gijimas.
@@albertopeluso7067 they are the Matimba's and Selati's daughters, as well as the old one eyed girl who is the offspring of Dozie and Blondie
Can I ask, While Male Lions are well know for fighting over territory and dominance, how common is it for Female Lions to encounter or fight other Female Lion Prides ?
Yes, it does happen but possibly not as common as male lions fighting
@@ross_spirou_photography thank you
Female lions do fight over territory but it mostly comes from the fact that they want to protect their cubs…it’s not just nomadic males who kills cubs but other females from rival neighboring prides do as well
@@deathvalleydemon41 👍
since they don't move around as much as the males they don't encounter each other often but when they do a fight is likely.
Why is it that lions even tigers never seem to go after people sitting in the vehicles? Even vehicles with open tops.
Wow 21 lions. I bet these girls doesn't lose many dinners to hyenas even if no big males are present.
What's the name of this Pride??
Imbali/S8 pride.
@@tr1x243 who is/was the pride male?
