I ate one at work about 2 hours before the end of my shift. It was excruciating for about 5 minutes and then fine. On my ride home my stomach started getting very warm and uncomfortable. Every 15 minutes for the next 8 hours or so was the worst cramps i've ever had. I thought i would have to go to the hospital
2 things I always ask before feeding someone world class evil like that. 1. Have you ever eaten anything hotter than a habanero? If not, that's like jumping from a BB gun to a 44magnum. And 2. Have you eaten in the last hour? Your stomach would appreciate a buffer. Beyond that I'd warn them that they're going to be living in the hurt locker for at least a half hour. There's not really a way around that.
Same here! I can't even eat a jalepeno without hiccupping. I was at a large dinner, and they had sliced habaneros. I ate a very small piece and had to leave from the embarrassment of all the hiccups.
i ate one straight up. unlike what the pepper heads say it dont taste or smell fruity. taste wise its awful. but with hot stuff not just milke(real milk) stuff with a high fat content;buttermilk peanutbutter. water just spreads it. things that are acidic or have alcohol make it burn worse
Without high tolerance to capsaicin of course straight up super hots are not going to taste very good. Descriptions of super hot flavors is not BS like wine tasting for example, these fruits really do have wild interesting flavors.
It was 100% my choice. About 10 minutes after this video ended I was completely fine. No burn, no firery booty, and no lasting issues. I did it to see how I would react and if I could handle it. We still talk about it at work.
