    I had LADDS procedure done as a baby due to malrotation. I was 9 days old, still have my scar.

      Did you face intestinal adhesion or obstruction again after ladd's surgery?? Pls let me know??

      If you are symptomatic you will most likely end up having a Ladd's procedure. The risk of not having it, could be loss of the entire small bowel or death due to a volvulus or twisted bowel

    My new born baby went Lads procedure for intestinal malrotation at 7th day however couldn’t able to survive and passed away after second surgery. I just want to know the reason why babies will affect with this malrotation problem? Due to covid for Pregnancy women or any reasons ??

      I'm 23 years old boy from India
      I've surgery intestinal malrotation by lad procedure two years ago but my nease and vomiting not stop
      And I'll next surgery after 1.5 years
      My whole life have changed after this illness 😭😭

      @@saqisaqi1585 I'm sorry that your little one is going through this! For what it's worth, the surgery was lifesaving for me. I have not run into many complications since, however I have always had digestive issues which may or may not be related to the surgery. When they did my surgery, they removed my appendix, and whether it was beneficial or just a precaution, I can't say for certain. I am immunocompromised which may be in part due to not having an appendix, so I'd take that into consideration if I was in your shoes and consulting a doctor. I hope this helps!
