Used to fish there many years ago, was never able to catch a keeper sturgeon but did see many caught. Outgoing tide current is really fast and too many snags so stopped trying.

my 12ft emblem pro was bought at a bait shop years ago. you might find it online. The Grey Team Daiwa was bought on tackle direct. The Reel, the BG 5000 was bought on amazon. I had on 65 LB Braid, Power Pro.

Yeah you have to use heavy weight so you line doesn’t move to the snags
