  • This video gives the simplified concept of one-way slab and its design procedure using a numerical example as per IS 456:2000 code provisions.
    Method of Design: Limit State Method

    CODE OF PRACTICE", BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS.
    (2) SP 34: 1987 "HANDBOOK ON CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT
    AND DETNLING", BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS.

    Shouldn't the value of 'k' as calculated for design shear strength be nearly 1.24 for D=185mm?

    Sir, pls make video on manual design of G+1 or G+2 building starting from column layout, beam layout, slab design (one-way SS & continuous, two way ss & continuous), load transfer to beam, beam design, load transfer to columns, columns design, load transfer to footing, foundation design.. etc
