Another brilliant project behind us! Please appreciate this video, mainly thanks to @Edits_by_Evelyn it is so wonderful! Thank you constantly for your willingness to cooperate with me, love you so much!
I absolutely love this! I admire Arabs so so much for countless reasons! They are so stunning and they are very physically capable and athletic! Someday when i get one i want it trained for all kinds of things (english, western, bareback, etc) bc they really are capable ❤ I am especially proud that today's popular breeds have arabian bloodlines even if its just a little bit :)
yes but unfortunately these breeding of the dished faces restrict their ability to breath, they should be endurance horses but we cruelly breed them to be things to look at, which is very sad. and they loose their rideability, only the part bred or less egyptian ones are ridden. but great video both!
According to my research 🤓👆 The super dished faces actually have different problems, not related to breathing (tho if they are WAY too dished that will obviously effect breathing as well) such as dental issues. And again, not all Arabs are bred this way, I know a few with beautiful dished faces that are in perfect health! Unfortunately many are bred with exaggerated ones :/ I wish ppl could appreciate the natural dish and not over do it so much 🥲
Unfortunately, these days we are in times when we are harming animals and why? For chic? Pride? I don't understand it as much as you do :( it's really great that you pay attention to it! I admire you for noticing so many things as a young person, thank you for it 🙏❤
There has been zero data or scientific studies that their dished faces cause any breathing issues. The shape of the head and dish actually enhance their ability to breathe and run long distances in hot climates. The whole spread of misinformation started because people with large platforms didn't like the way they looked and ran with an opinion piece. Egyptians make wonderful riding horses but they are usually on the smaller side. Polish/Russian/Crabbet lines are the most popular for english disciplines. They are extremely versatile and I wish there was more social media coverage of the riding aspects. El Rey Magnum, the horse who started all the negative discussion, has an under saddle career now!
@@welovehorses2022 thank you for saying this! I never truly brought myself to believe that dished faces restricted breathing because that simply doesn't make sense if that's how they are supposed to look. Google (ik it's a poor source, but it's what I have rn 😭) keeps saying how dished faces can cause dental issues? I wrote that in my reply above but honestly idk if I believe that or not 😅
@@welovehorses2022 This is much better news! It's true, Internet can be confusing. I hope that trusted breeders breed them according to their nature. After all, I'm Polish, I have to believe in my own people 🤭 thanks for information!
