I love the interaction with Pearl, Mumbo’s like “I heard you’ve started doing redstone?” And Pearl just goes “yeah I made Wordle in Minecraft!”
Meanwhile, I’ve only figured out how crafters, hoppers, and levers work. And kind of pistons.
The whole discussion of "It's quite simple, really" was super wholesome.
And, frankly, if you've got a good handle on working with crafters, that's pretty impressive. I can only do the very basic recipes before things get jammed.
I've never done a single Redstone contraption in my life, I only use command blocks, @izzytodd4242 if you play in bedrock edition, please teach me how to do Redstone. I don't even know how hoppers work, my username is SophiaGaming137

this may be my favorite hermitcraft episode ever! i was giggling the whole time and when you and pearl met up to show off your new skills? god that’s my new favorite hermit interaction ever (pearl saying “i just got complimented by mumble jumbo!” was so sweet i just had a big ol’ grin on my face). mumbo i commend you i feel like you’ve managed to recapture your charm and excitement that i haven’t really felt in a video since maybe season 7? i can tell you’re really enjoying yourself making these and your enthusiasm and humor is truly contagious. i WILL be purchasing a big ron’s tee and i hope you continue the quality content in the future. massive kudos to you dude

Ive solved Mumbos recent building craze, back in season 8 Mumbo consumed Grians soul to stop being a pig. Thus he has absorbed Grians inate tendencies to build and its starting to manifest.
The context required for this to make any sense is still pretty daft.

The birds thing I learned from bonsai trees. I heard when shaping the tree, imagine that birds can fly through. It wasn't about the density of leaves, but the shape of it.
I learned a lot about bonsai trees and took that straight to minecraft, which improved my custom trees 100x

Since I am more focused on Minecraft side of Mumbo's creativity I tend to forget that he's quite a talented filmmaker... And then he drops a merch ad that would make jealous like 99.5% of other creators on platform.
Season 10 has been great, because we get to see hermits trying new things. Pearl and Mumbo trying redstone, Grian and Scar building, and Cleo with their armour stands!

Only if he get hair implants. Mumbo is one of those not so rare brits that grow peach fuzz and it takes ages to do so hahahaha. Bright side is that you seldom have to shave to not look unkempt but you also tend to look rather young for your age.

I like to think that the creation of the database was contributed by all the residents of the mountain. Big ron supplied the tech, boulder bros dug out the land, jill and bill provided nothing cause they be hoarders, etc
I love how Pearlescent Jumbo is teaching Mumbo Moon about building. Good on a redstoner to branch out and teach a builder how to make trees.
So nice of Bdubs to start teaching redstone to beginners like Mumbo!

After considerable meditation, I have come to the conclusion that the only thing Mumbo’s base lacks are different shaped buildings. The existing buildings look great but they’re all rectangular or made of multiple rectangles, and I think the base could be interesting with more shapes. Perhaps a cheeky circle or two.

For the display, I would also suggest to add 'Tinted Glass' directly in front of the redstone lamps
I know it's an invention counter, but it feels infinitely more funny for the counter to be labled "Days without an incident." or "Incident Reports." Yes, this does imply your redstone is an incident, which is why I think you need to do it. Please, the redstone community would love it.

Trying to remember my Uni English grammar classes, this is what I think my Professor would say:
Book and Quills - can be both the Minecraft item as plural items, can also be one book and multiple quills.
Books and Quills - can be multiple books and quills, probably wouldn't be the Minecraft item as plural (because Book and Quill is technically one named item in the game, adding s to Book would indicate it isn't?).
But honestly I think both versions would be okay if there's no nitpickers!
I think it would be nice to have the reset feature be tied to you returning the book. That way, you just put the book back, instead of putting the book back and then pressing a button

You should make the Impossible Grian Challenge:
Setup a room or building that has over 100 buttons in it and say that only 1 of them does something, but never hook it up to anything. So Grian goes in and pushes all the buttons and none of then does anything. When he gets frustrated, go in and "make something happen" and tell him it is all working just fine. Repeat the process over and over until he flies away.

I like that the set of the Big Ron's commercial is a garden-shed.
Also, look at all the details (4:08): The floppiediscs on and around Ron, the camera equipment on the table next to Mumbo, the headphones next to the lightswitch and in the box in the centre of the screen, the big boxes to give the shed more of a warehouse vibe, and not to forget the glorious 1st-gen iMac(!), does that still work by the way?
I quite like the idea that Ron helped create the database and couldn’t keep up with the maintenance costs, thus just let it sit there degrading and slowly getting more and more unfixable.
I think having a storage silo for all your foodstuffs would fit perfectly into this build. If a silo doesn't look good, an old rickety water tower like in Gravity Falls could be a great little touch to the small town vibe.

"Umlaut" is absolutely correct. "Umlaut" is every letter that is a combination of 2 letters. ö=oe; ü=ue; ä=ae; ß=sz.

That bulky blue computer monitor of Big Ron is taking me back massively to the time where those were all the rage! As a student I worked in a small computer buy&repair shop in the village I grew up in. Those screens were fairly cheap and they looked very fancy at the time. They sold like candy.

Perl's Wordle machine is amazing. It's both simple and the kind of use for all the parts that I wouldn't think of. My brain keeps trying to come up with a way to avoid having to duplicate input, and you could, for example, break the picture frames, but then you don't have the word still there when the result comes back, so it's kind of annoying. And you could do lecterns, of course, but that'd take two letters per page, so you'd need to add a lever or something, and you still wouldn't have a nice word display. Plus, the two return barrels makes it so much easier to indicate out of-place letters. Perl's solution is very elegant with this in mind.

Mumbo listen. I just made a redstone key door using the crafter and I think it's one of the most secure doors ever. I made it so you throw items on to a block that has a hopper cart beneath to pick up the items. then they go into the crafter and if you don't throw in the right items to craft a specific block then the door wont open. You should try it out
I love the fact that all the hermits are trying new things like pearl and mumbo doing redstone they are really pushing the boundaries this season
I've been watching since Season Five, and I have to say that this is probably your most impressive base yet. It reminds me of the storage area of your Season Five base with the detailing, texturing, and transitions. However, you're raising the bar by making great use of the blocks Minecraft didn't have seven years ago.
So far what I've seen with this Season of HermitCraft (btw I've been watching Grian's, Mumbo's, and Scar's Hermitcraft videos.) Minecraft Builders are practicing Redstone, and Minecraft Redstone Engineers are practicing building. Interesting turn of events. Awesome videos as always. Also love seeing the return of Redstone Mumbo.

@@drefk1973 I don't fully think so, because sometimes I get revealed other Hermits builds and projects, especially when Mumbo, Grian, and Scar visit the other Hermits, and things get explained, also I watch these three because of the shenanigans these three get up to. They make a great trio.
