I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance.

NVIDIA will have blowout earnings for Q1. Imho they will be over 26 Billion in revenue and earnings per share will be about $6. Maybe a stock split as well. Those not already invested will be paying about $1,000 per share after earnings.

My buddy, works at MS, he told me to put my money into NVDA in 2020, early in the year. Maybe early Feb, late Jan. I bought 250 shares.
I also put money in VTI, VXUS and then some in bonds.
I literally did not look at it until I sold my rental properties late last year. I'd forgotten my password and he just told me "don't even look at it for 6 months." I didn't even remember how many shares I'd bought! Looked at it, 1000 shares and...things had gone pretty well!
1-I love that man. I didn't get rich, but I appreciated his advice.
2-I then went and invested MOST of the money from the sale of 4 investment properties into NVDA this past January.
So missed most of it's run up this last year, but still got in at...488 a share, then got more comfortable and kept buying. I'm done now. Last purchase price was at 823.
Also put 200 into a 529 for my Nieces and Nephews.
Let's hope for a stock split and then the soar. I'm here for the money.

Nvda has made the CPU architecture obsolete! Gpu compute is 1000 x more efficient. No competition.
2 or 4 for 1 stock split would be nice and drive up the price. We just don't want the price to compare to closely to AMD. It might confuse people thinking AMD is keeping up
Not worried about that as imho the only reason people buy AMD now is because the stock price is just cheaper. Everyone knows that NVIDIA is head and shoulders above them.
It's going to be 4-1 at least. I'd guess 5-1...but I don't think 6-1 is out of the question.

@@jeffrose5622 Yup. I think it's going to run up quite a bit before...and after. We'll see it hit 1200 a share kinda like we saw 974. It won't stay there(yet)...but it'll be good.
I remember talking to investments firms like Vanguard and the like and they wanted me ONLY in stocks and then they wanted me only 50% in Stocks, but just their ETFs, 50% in Bonds...and I argued and they wouldn't listen(this was last Sept or so).
They said "we're not trying to beat the market," and I thought...then why the fuck would I invest with you? I can get a general indext fund myself.
So instead, I'm just going to keep investing in the top 4-5 in the top funds. It's been NVDA, then AMZN, GOOGL, META...and then TSM, but I just trust them.
And of course, throwing a few thousand into some of these Quantum Computing companies as I think one of them will be the next "of you'd invested 1000 in 2024, it'd be worth 93M today!
Just hope I hit the right one. QBTS and Riggiti(forgot the symbol) are the two I'm looking at.
Probably not going to blow up, but...we'll see.
5/22...... currently my 1000k option expires September 20 and I'm up 23%. Earnings could push me close to 150% and possibly closer to 200% with the June event.
