I’ve noticed recently that you’ve been able to consistently pump out quality entertainment almost every day of the week, while most your viewers are occupied with work or school. You’ve done a great job at making some truly awesome and entertaining content this year. I’ve been a fan since about 2012, but I took a recent vacation from watching your channel. Once Covid started up though, I really began to appreciate your dedication to this craft and the content you produce for your community. I know you’re just doing what you do and having a good time, but I just wanna say I really appreciate the time you’ve been putting in recently, and I think we all look forward to coming home at the end of whatever confusing day we might have to appreciate the unbiased, entertaining content you provide on this site. The net neutrality thing did affect people in some states. States like california still have the rules in place locally except for some companies limiting household internet bandwidth like comcast and now you pay an extra monthly 20 bucks to have unlimited data.
On the other hand, everyone was completely wrong about Article 13, which did nothing except put hosting websites at more risk which shouldn't even matter to its users. If those sites try to push the risk on users, those users will go elsewhere.
They did that before. Throttling internet existed prior to net neutrality. The whole thing was that people were worried about them limiting websites to specific subscriptions.

On the topic of skateboarding not being as popular as it used to be, I still can’t believe that they just recognized it as an Olympic sport just a while ago, 19 years too late if you ask me, imagine Olympic skateboarding during its peak of pop culture ubiquity, they could’ve had a Blink 182 and Sum 41 concert for the closing ceremony, such a missed opportunity

Straight up scooters killed skating, my.theory is let's be honest the basics and first 3 tricks on a skateboard is dam hard, same with bmx, the fundamentals you build on take years to learn, and most kids don't wanna put that effort these days when you can pick up a scooter bust a few tailwhips and feel like a god with minimum effort. Kaya's talking points on Net neutrality are so insanely off. The major thing is that it paves the way for further monetization of website. Companies have and are talking about creating traffic ways which would cost additional based off site traffic, Though the implementation is still 3-5 years away. For someone who acts like he knows it all and hates government you'd think he'd know they aren't going to roll out everything instantly because at that point people would notice and complain. It will be a slow erosion like always

Well yeah it does and that's a perfect example. If they start throttling Riot then it does affect you if you play LoL. Even if they try to make Riot pay for better traffic, instead of the end user, than Riot will push the extra cost on us.

I just don't get how a game like Hollow Knight, one of the funnest most beautiful most content rich games i've ever played can launch at $15 with several free content updates afterward, and yet 2k is adding advertisments to a $60 game which won't be playable in a year when the next one comes out.
The fanbases for the games are different. Hollow knight is a fanbase of indie gamers that truly love videogames, while nba has a fanbase of basketball fans and people who dont really play many videogames, many of which arent very knowledgeable about what a good game actually is; so ea makes a ton of money from ignorant/and unknowing people.
That's just my hot take on it tho

As someone who studies AI, that is very wrong. Look into deep learning, and particularly unsupervised learning

The issue with net neutrality going away is that just because we haven’t seen the effects yet, doesn’t mean they won’t happen. Of course they wouldn’t get rid of net neutrality and then immediately hammer us with new fees, that’d just stir up a government response. The fees will be eased in slowly so we don’t make a fuss. We still lose at the end, just most smart companies are in the business of lasting “forever” instead of immediately making a quick buck

The latest sport that was invented that became mainstream (that I'm aware of) is pickleball. Its really only become big within the past decade or so is my understanding, but where I live they've started painting lines for the game on top of tennis courts and people bring nets and set them up on the tennis courts

What about a sport where you have tiny remote control ships in a lake with rc planes as well to fight a naval battle. And the objective would be to capture certain parts of the lake and once all the territories are taken over or all the planes and ships get shot down that team is the winner.

During the Apallo 11 mission, the crew was told there was a chance for them becoming stranded on the surface of the moon without hope of returning to earth. They were each give a capsule of cyanide to kill themselves before their oxygen ran dry, suffocating from the lack of breathable air. Being stuck in a really tight space with one other person for thousands of kilometre from the closest person being the single crew member who stayed behind orbiting above who had no communication with anyone for 30mins, only radio silence. And 100 of thousands from Earth. I'm surprise there hasn't been a movie or story if it did happened.

We need to turn the moon into a robot fighting arena. I'm talking like giant mechs boosting at each other with rocket boots or jetpacks, blasting each other with missiles, throwing each other like ragdolls, and all of that in the low grav atmosphere of the moon (on the dark side of the moon so that earth still has a nice view).
Like, it'd be amazing. I'd support that, and a project that restored the moon at designated times each day.
