I've toured North America out of a Mazda 3, spent 2 years exploring the United Kingdom out of a broken down Citroen Berlingo, lived out of a Volkswagen Transporter in Australia during the 2020 lockdown, and the year after renovated my dream van a Ford Econoline named Moe.
I'm now back to Canada to plan my next adventure!

You’re a great guy for helping all of these people who live in the streets. There’s so many people who need help, so here’s a donation so that you can help even more people in need. Keep spreading love & positivity in this world💪
That’s insanely generous my friend!
So much negativity out there, thanks for helping us spread smiles:)
That’s awesome!
@@bennisles9521 Incredibly generous:) Will be paying it forward I promise!
Very very nice thing to do from you as well. He did great helping the homeless people and If I can find out how to sneak into a Sens game I'd do the same thing but they have way less doors so it's harder to sneak into that stadium.
@sensfan7550 dude my boy Matt already got in there twice...
For the price of one ticket, you fed and helped that many people. Goes to show its all about how you use your resources. Good job mate, as someone from Vancouver, we thank you 🙌🏽
I keep saying it but this may prove it, I only stayed until the end of the second period.
The best part is the handout. Fills my soul:)
A friggin pleasure man, thanks for the encouragement!
as another person from Vancouver, the homelessness is out of control so thanks for helping these kind folks :)
@@pyro2867 My pleasure:)
The way you talk to those who are less fortunate is really heart warming, especially for someone that doesn’t even live here. Thank you man
Thanks buddy! I try to be gentle, yet upbeat hoping to bring a little warmth to them through the interaction itself:)
Good man! I was homeless on the streets of Vancouver with my cat Cleo. We both got a place and it's been almost ten years now but I still remember how nice it felt when someone showed some kindness and offered up a moment of their time, even just to say hello. Well done brother!❤
It's my absolute pleasure! Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us, and I'm so happy to hear that you and Cleo have a home!
as someone who lives in Vancouver, it makes me sad too see all the homeless people on the streets so thank you for helping them out! :)
It broke my heart Aaron. Hoping this will encourage others to do random acts of kindness towards those that need it most.
Thanks for watching!
What you did for those homeless people on the streets of Vancouver was enough to earn my subscription to your channel. Great vid!
Best part of you ask me:) Thanks for the support Cory!
I've lived here for 20 years and have lost a bit of my compassion towards the less fortunate. You've changed my thought process. Thank you.
Man!!! Powerful comment here my friend:) Had to deal with a negative one moments ago and this just picked me right back up.
Thanks for saying this, means heaps!
There's a big need for love on the streets of Vancouver. Every gesture counts. God bless you, Matt! 🙂
Couldn’t agree with ya more! Thanks Pax:)
Living locally, I always see and think to myself "I wish I could brighten up their days". You sir have proven to me its not the amount but the effort and thought behind the action. I appreciate coming to Vancouver and making a difference. Thank you!
Doesn't take much to make a stranger's day a little better:) Thanks for having me in your city!
Thanks for helping our city out, supporting the Nucks and sticking it to The Man all at the same time 😅
Thanks for passing that long:)
Proud to be helping out those that need it the most, and honestly if the Nucks are the team to get Stanley back in Canada, I'm on board all the way!
I first found your channel because my friend and I were trying to sneak into the Bell Center. But seeing you doing this in the city we grew up in is so beautiful man. What you’re doing for these people is so awesome. God Bless you and your generosity.
Man you’re too sweet! Glad you’re enjoying my creation. I’m putting my whole heart into it!
My heart ached Matt , when you sent a text message stating, “so many people need help here “
Vancouver brought me to tears when I witnessed the homeless situation back in 2022😢.
A man with a purpose ❤. Hoping others are inspired by your compassion .
From my experience Vancouver not only has the most people in need, but they appear to need the most aid as well. Was really tough not even having enough socks and trail mix for even those I ran into.
Love ya ma! Thanks for your thoughts!
@@MattWatsonComedy sucks that everything in Vancouver is too expensive. You're gonna have to be a millionaire in order to live here.
@@MrSupahLMFAO Or get yourself a stealth rolling home;) Worked for me whilst I was there.
BC still stands for Bring Cash...Your going to need alot just to survive..Your a good man sir..
@@Troyjanwarrior1 It’s my favorite part of the whole exercise:)
You're a true hero, Matt. Most people (including myself) like to believe they're a good person and yet probably most don't make the effort to do nice things like this for people less fortunate. It brings a tear to my eye watching these homeless people so happy for the gifts you've brought them. You are a good person, Matt. Much love from BC! ❤
Oh my god.. "Real food real food!".. that broke me 😭 This inspires me to help my local homeless. Thank you, Matt.
@@zordock Dude there were some real heartbreaks that afternoon. For me the kid in the alleyway who said “Easter eggs!” excitedly in particular. Really puts all I have into perspective when I see the joy a bag of trail mix and a clean pair of socks brings.
Not only has this process pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of, but it has no doubt made me a more compassionate, empathetic and just all around better.
Thanks for the kind, encouraging words:)
More to come!
Don’t sell yourself short my friend, there’s nothing stopping you from taking an afternoon either solo or with some friend to help in your way, in fact that would be best case results from these videos.
As we both know there are plenty of fellow human beings on the streets of Vancouver who could use some compassion, and I guarantee helping them, however you can, will bring you joy too.
Much love right back:) Thanks for watching!
This is actually a really wholesome video, many people in Vancouver need essential living supplies such as these socks and food due to the high price of living. Thank you for giving back to the community!
Not a problem man:) In fact it was my pleasure!
Wow my heart is aching. Its so powerful to see these humanizing interactions. Thank you for this
It’s my favorite part of the whole project!
Glad you enjoyed it:)
This just filled my heart. You're a special person Matt. "you keep being you" too.
Right back at ya Scott! Thanks for checking out the video:) Means a whole heap!
Been watching all of the videos in your “Sneaking into an Arena” series. All I can say is thank you for bringing your viewers entertainment and giving back/helping the communities at the same time. Truly one of a kind, keep up the great work Matt!
And you’ve got Sonic in your handle!!!
Love that.
Not only is this entire format incredibly rewarding, but I think I’ve found the thing I’m supposed to be doing:)
Thanks for the kind words buddy!
Better manners from most of these unhoused people than mpst customers at my job. A real eye opener.
That keeps baffling me too! The most polite and grateful people you’ll ever meet.
Mad respects, yo. Sticking it to the guys on top, helping the ones who need it on the bottom. How it should be.
Especially in Vancouver with the amount of people on the bottom. Thanks for watching:)
Keep spreading love bro! Thanks for doing that
Thanks for that John! Beyond generous:)
Will pay it forward!
Oh man! Another banger of a vid! "I always call them the Cannots" lol
She was a sweetheart! Glad I could give her another sweater for warmth:) Thanks for watching!
7:41 that was a really human interaction. I've lived in Vancouver all my life and I wished everyone could speak to the less fortunate the way you do, just as equals. Awesome video man, very entertaining and heartwarming, please keep it up!
That’s exactly what I’m hoping people will get from it! Seeing we’re all human and those humans in your community on the streets need a compassionate helping hand.
Thanks for that sharing your thoughts Alex! Means a lot:)
Wow man. A lot of people would be scared to approach people along East Hastings, but they were very nice and appreciative of your help. Keep up the good work!
We forget that we’re all people:)
Fun fact. I used to go to esports events at the sports bar and that where i found the season ticket seat loop hole and have done that many times. Unfortunate that you missed that opening. Ty for giving back to the homeless.
Titans fan?!
😂 Man I should have consulted you beforehand! Would have been SO much easier! No problem on the handouts, literally my most favorite part:)
you have a good heart. they seemed to really appreciate the socks and trail mix
Certainly trying my best:) Thanks for checking out the video!
That was so beautiful! They couldn’t believe you were giving away socks! Well done Matt!
Handing that stuff out is chicken soup for my soul Becks:)
thanks for stopping by and spreading love to my city. much appreciated! the homeless could use a lot more help and guidance
My pleasure! I didn’t do anything too difficult to be recreated. If anything, it’s something anyone willing to spare a couple hours could do:) You’ve seen how much of a difference it makes!
That took an amazing turn that I simply did not expect. Kudos my friend. We need more you.
Take notes M Night Shyamalan! 😂
Glad you enjoyed the journey:)
Thank you for coming to Vancouver wish all the best
My pleasure! Thanks for having me:)
Fantastic. Showing us what truly matters in life. Imagine what we could do collectively if we all cared for the down on their luck humans as you and your family do. I loved seeing the look on the eyes of the people when you selflessly shared something so simple as a pair of socks and some food. Thank you.
That’s what I’m hoping will happen man:)
Glad you’re on board!
Bro. I clicked to watch to watch the ninja sneak in. I live in this neighborhood and was really impressed with the socks and mix

Great job on handing out socks & trail mix! You actually give some to one of my tenants, I work at one of the sro you walked by!!! Thank you for your kind heart!
Your words mean the world friend:)
Thank you for sharing that with me.
Your a great soul, good job spreading the giving and love. Mad props.
Thanks friend:) Appreciate the support!
I talked to a social worker and they said that they've worked with a lot of homeless people and the reason why Vancouver has the highest homeless rate in Canada isn't just because of money, but because although BC does still definitely get cold at times, the entire west coast does typically have warmer weather and less severe winters, making homelessness just that little bit more bearable. That's why homeless people tend to move from other cities to Vancouver because you won't freeze to death as much as other cities in Canada. Toronto maybe have higher homeless rate than Vancouver but it's less noticeable in Toronto because they're more spread out compared to Vancouver where they're all packed in one area. Toronto's biggest homeless area is Moss Park but the area is much smaller than East Hastings. Toronto police don't arrest or make homeless people to "move on" where as Vancouver police kind of forces them to stay in East Hastings so that they can keep them under control.
It’s absolutely brutal. Saddest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
Thank you for helping these people!
My pleasure. Honestly, there isn't much I'd rather be doing:)
This is great to see man. I’m rooting for you and your channel moving forward🤞🏽
Nice to have you on board:) Thanks for those kind words!
love what youre doing man keep it up!!!
Thanks friend! You know what? Me too:)
Idk how i come across this. But this was amazing to see ya stick it to the upper man and get into the game for free. As well as handing socks and trail mix out. It’s the simple things man, they all were very appreciative about it and all thankful. This was so cool. I def wanna try get in on that elevator sometime when in Van now 😂
😂 Be careful bud I reckon they’ve seen the heist and may have beefed up the security!
Thanks for the kind words though, means a lot!

My favorite part of the entire exercise:) Thanks for watching!
i live in vancouver and ya the arena is way to secure but again im glad you go for free and return the favor to the homeless keep it up man we need more ppl like you
Thanks for the support man. My whole heart is going into this!
Matt you are awesome at blending in with your surroundings
It looks that way. Even though I do like my moments in the spotlight, off stage I’ve said to myself multiple times that I have the ability to be an ‘extra’ in my own life and float in the background. Never had a use for it, until now.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for all that nice work. You deserved that free hockey game 😅
I only stayed until the end of the second, the real reward was giving out the trail mix and socks:) Thanks for watching!
This used to be way easier. The reason its harder now is cause when i worked in the set up crew for concerts we were moving spotlights and a guy who straight up looked homeless just walked through the crew entrance, had a bike helmet not even a hard hat, signed our sign in, and security didn't bat an eye. We came across him doing drugs and skittering around like Gollum in the suite level
😂 Bike helmet instead of a hard hat! That’s friggin hilarious. And he signed in to boot!
This comment is gold! Thanks for sharing that:)
@@MattWatsonComedy Thanks man! Can't wait to see what arenas you try next! Btw I don't think the guy checked the program schedule cause he snuck in for kevin hart 😂
@@superironman Lucky guy. I’d sneak into Kevin Hart Live. Currently editing next Wednesday’s video on sneaking into a Flames game in Calgary;)
@@MattWatsonComedy No shade to Kevin Hart but if I was breaking into an arena to do drugs, I'd try to see something with a little more going on 😂 Can't wait for the next vid!
@@superironman 😂 I see what you mean. Watching someone just literally standing up isn’t gonna be the trippiest of experiences.

oh my god. He does it again!!! You MAD MAN!
Would you believe as time was running out I truly thought I wasn’t going to be able to get in, then the door literally just opened?!

PRADA U MATT KEEP IT UP!!!
Thanks friend:) Will do!
PM me next time, i have great knowledge of the building layout, you could also try the staff entrance about an hour or two before puck drop
Love that:) Will do!
That sports bar is the biggest pain in the ass to those that work there. As it’s a weak point in the security coverage. We brought that up when I was working there. But management didn’t listen. It’s a great place for smokers to go out and have a smoke as the bar allows reentry you walk up to the bar turn around walk back down go out for a smoke walk back up turn around come down bang back in the arena. It’s a lot of work for a smoke lol.
Well at least it gives them a bit of exercise to counteract the Tobacco;) I agree with ya, it’s a weak point. As you saw, it wasn’t looking like I was getting in otherwise.
Thanks for sharing that!
Absolute. Legend. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I do Uber Eats and I like doing East Vancouver, around main and Hastings area. It's a pretty busy area, and I get the pass through this intersection and this area quite a bit. I like it down there, everyone's actually pretty chill and friendly and interesting. The rest of the city can be a bit uptight and a bit snooty.
Love hearing that about the community:)

@@MattWatsonComedy as long as you are not an idiot driving past him or crossing the road lol
@@KevinL-ws4if Sounds reasonable to me.
Thank you for helping those street people, Matt. Sneaking in to a Canucks game clearly isn't the simple task that it used to be. At the old Pacific Coliseum, you could easily sneak in by blending in with the crowd that exited the building during an intermission break to smoke cigarettes.
I’ve heard tales of the ‘sneaking in through the Arena smoking section era’ but have only pulled it once at a tiny club in Kingston Ontario Cabada.
Was my absolute pleasure for lending a hand. It’s my favorite part of the whole ordeal. Appreciate the support!

I tried the elevator method at today's game. Didn't work out. I did however get lucky and there a was a staff member inside the elevator but she was unable to take me to the 1st floor because I think she had a low level access card.
