A friend introduced me to the Wild Unknown tarot deck and I immediately told her of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner illustrated by Gustave Doré, which is a great inspiration for me. I'm very fond of the poem, it's imagery and depth. I absolutely love Doré's illustrations for the Rime. The one for the Wheel is from the Rime and is one of my favorites ( 3:43 ) and also the one for 2 of Swords ( 10:40 ). I had no idea there was a whole tarot deck with Doré's illustrations! Amazing!

This deck deserves a huge guide book with the art references. LoScarabeo has to work more on publishing quality.

It is a masterpiece of black and white, deep tones. I've seen it before when it wasn't complete.
