"These are not the shoes for this" - you just KNOW you told this friend a hundred times to wear proper hiking shoes, and they came in trainers anyway. I grew up on the moors, very relatable 😂
(A picturesque agrarian English landscape, complete with ferocious Holsteins and perilous quick-mud) "I need this every so often to refocus on my center. You only need therapy if you've disconnected yourself from the natural order."
I wish I could say the same for my dog haha. She's such a couch potato. She likes walking for like... 10 minutes. Then she drags her paws and often flat ou asks me to carry her. Then she happily enjoys eveything from my arms, while my arms are dying for the next 40 minutes.
I had a friend at Uni who didn't like walking. One day when it was her turn to visit me she tripped on the way over and ripped her tights, and blamed me because if I had visited her it wouldn't have happened. 🙈 Another time when walking through campus with this friend we came accross a large puddle. I walked around the puddle whilst she walked through it. She then blamed me for her feet getting wet. 🥴 Stopped hanging out with her some time after that.
I'm not a fan personally. I don't mind a short walk but like half hour max and the country's not for me. I spend all day on my feet for work so I don't wanna spend my relaxing time hiking around
I remember my first time in Britain with those public footpaths just leading through donkey enclosures (cant think of the correct word right now. Y'know, fenced-in area), across open grass lands, up hills and everywhere. Absolutely amazing to explore the countryside! Though I admit that I turned back a few times when the horses and donkeys looked at me funny.
@@420JackG that's interesting as we tend to use corral to mean a small area for managing livestock, like separating them into groups or grouping them to load for transport
This is me, I’m this friend 😂 I like the IDEA of the walk, just not the walk itself. And if it’s something we’ve decided spur of the moment and I’m not wearing the right things, I’ll be going home lol
@@Answersonapostcard I suppose if you’re wearing summer clothes it might not be so nice but if you’re wearing winter clothes the weather is as beautiful as the scenery
I have been charged at by cows a couple of times while walking in pasture lands, so I'm very wary of cows...it wont stop e from enjoying a nice country walk though! :)
this is the friend that will march you up and back the high street looking for that 'right thing' but get them on a 1/4 mile loop and it's 40 years in the wilderness LOL
Cows kill more people than sharks.. an actual fact! 😁 This lass is superb, she really pulls the essence out of real life situations and spins us a hilarious sketch. Genuine comedy 🤣👍
Bulls are scary. Never had a problem with a cow but bulls are very scary encounters. Now and again it's happened on a walk that a bull has appeared. Dang it's scary, I've been lucky so far cos those bulls look toxic
I was on a walk with my friend and she insisted on finding another way back then complained we ended up in the neighbouring town and it took us ages to get back, we were doing a circular route, we were nearly back!
This is me. I went on a stag do once and the first activity was a countryside walk. I didn’t know this would happen so didn’t have appropriate clothes or shoes. We took ages and we didn’t have any beer either.
Me, I’ll go ponder about in the woods all day with you sure, but I’m not doing a point a to point be walk, where we just trek, not stopping long enough to properly enjoy and interact with our surroundings. Let’s go off the path and try climb that tree for a hour, who cares if we end the day only 30 mins from where we started at least we had fun and it wasn’t some military style three hour hike

Also white and flat
Then posts the picture taken on social media with the caption: “Had a wonderful walk in the countryside today. Nothing quite like it!”

Me TOO ! That was EXACTLY what I was just remembering. ESPECIALLY when he thought COWS were about to attack him !
…..”need a wee” the essence of a country walk.
I might be a freak but it's one of my favourite parts of country walks 🤭😶
I don't appreciate being so accurately called out here!
"I just don't want them to bite me". 😂 😂
I don't want them to trample me. Or stampede
This particular friend seems very scared of creatures biting her. I remember at the beach, it was fish.

Haha this perfectly sums up why I only ever go on country walks with my dog. They never complain and will happily go all day.

not enjoying going for a long country walk is the biggest red flag
I had a friend at Uni who didn't like walking. One day when it was her turn to visit me she tripped on the way over and ripped her tights, and blamed me because if I had visited her it wouldn't have happened. 🙈 Another time when walking through campus with this friend we came accross a large puddle. Some people from the city enjoy walking behind big red flags though
... that they won't enjoy long country walks in the future?
I'm not a fan personally. I don't mind a short walk but like half hour max and the country's not for me. I spend all day on my feet for work so I don't wanna spend my relaxing time hiking around
You mean forcing, guilt tripping, or gaslighting people into doing things that they don’t like IS a red flag
Literally grow up
This woman is brilliant!
Is she though? Or is she just another annoying influencer
She’s fucking hilarious, I love her. Reminds me of Diane Morgan with her Yorkshire accent 😂😂😂
Stop it. I'm in my 50's and these skits are perfect.

I'm in my 60s. And "I need a wee" is very relevant

As if the dog wouldn't immediately go for the stick as it's picked up! Funny stuff!
That is an EXCELLENT DOG! The very dog that exposes which passersby have personality, and which are completely devoid thereof.
The dog is a master of improv
Forgot to say "right let's go to the pub now, we've earned ourselves a nice drink"
