that's actually a standard part of the gameplay if you're playing properly 💀
you have to calculate odds of hitting stuff so you can make informed decisions on how to sequence your mills

Having a rough sense of your probabilities (or straightup looking them up on yugiohparty) is crucial for putting your plays into perspective and making the right moves, and this can affect the plays you go for (and therefore sequencing). The easiest example I can think of I guess is when deciding whether to go for kit → merrli or kit → reino.

Why are you acting like all tear players are some kinda idiots that would be congratulating themselves for beating Timmy at locals because Timmy didn't get the message that it was a tear 0 format??
Anyway, tier 0 means a lot of mirror matches, and you CANNOT win a tear mirror if you just click buttons. People have compared Tear mirrors to chess and that's an exaggeration, but it is absolutely one of the hardest mirrors in this game's history.
Easy proof of the fact that tear mirrors indeed take crazy amounts of skill: boot up Jesse Kotton/Joshua Schmidt VODs and witness how they win every other Tearlament mirror on Master Duel… not because they "let the deck play itself" but because they play way better than their opponents (a lot of whom absolutely seem like they just are "clicking the buttons that show up" - so letting the deck play itself, as you say).

It's basically a perfect board, not even droplet and dark ruler can out it, cause you can just chain the trap to synchro summon something and then chain abyss to negate the spell. Kaijus don't do much either. We don't talk about evenly matched or sphere mode though, these cards don't exist LOL.

Unlike Masquerade and Gravity Dragon, this card and Red Eyes Flare Metal Dragon inflict damage. So it can kill without requiring the opponent to have exact same lifepoint as the paid lifepoint requirement.
Unfortunately it can also be reduced or removed by cards that let's you reduce or straight up not take damage that turn.

Tearlaments player in real life duels was skilled players because the way they manage the resource and understand how a chain link works. Tearlaments player in MD? Nah, it's just a bunch of meta slaves that only know how to press the button when something glows yellow. Still can't believe I won 10 times in a row against Tears while using D/D/D for climbing to Diamond, three of them was an instant win just because I activated Ash, Crow, or D Shifter

The opponent thought Dragostapelia would stop the burn effect, as evidenced by the fact that on the final chain, they used Dragostapelia targeting Black-Winged Assault Dragon.
Unfortunately, Dragostapelia only negates activated effects, and Black-Winged Assault Dragon is not an activated effect, it's a continuous effect that inflicts damage for each activated monster effect.

@@CrnaStrela it’s boring to play, you always do the same thing with the same end board over and over, yes other decks do that but they are combos you can do and learn with that deck, while tear is just kit, cyber, exterio, and another negate, so people do make the deck fun by adding other cards like Egyptian orb, or slime but base tearlamant isn’t it
