I only have a small 1 room apartment and thats barely enough for me alone. And second: I whould be probably a horrible dog owner because i'm INCREDIBLE weak to cuteness and puppy eyes and whould forgive anything with a "Aww, youre just so cute i cant be mad at you..." even when the dog just turned my whole living room upside down and thats not good because you need a certain strength to raise a dog just like a child and teach him/her good and bad. And thats something i just cant even if i try. So i better dont have a dog, its just the best for the dog. There are just too many dogs at the shelters where the previous owners overestimated their skills or weren't able to manage/train the dog like they should. And i surely dont want to "produce" another homeless dog.
A friend of mine was driving through the 'rich' side of town and saw a used lawn mower tractor in the trash out front. Took it home. All that was wrong was a dirty air filter. Replaced that and it ran like a charm. so, sometimes folks just do not even try to fix things - just toss. Good to see these type of fixit videos.

That mouse wasn't shy, it was holding on for dear life. He was loaded on a trailer, hauled away, flipped, dropped, power washed, and then his house was destroyed. I think I would have been nervous about coming out to.
I was today years old when I learned you can clean a gas tank like that! I actually got a free Craftsman riding mower the same way. Saw it by the road, stopped to talk to the homeowner to confirm it was free. Opened the hood, saw it had a 14 hp Kohler! Took it home, put on a new battery, front tire, and did an oil change. Put some gas in it and it fired right up. Ran perfect. Used it one summer, then sold it for $400!

Brings back memories fixing a mower similar to this after hitting rocks.My experience was with my stihl 4 mix line trimmer was to get rid of the guard and have just one string on the head and put a bolt through the other hole for a counterweight. Interesting channel!

I got a free 1972 Snapper rider mower given to me once. Had good spark, no compression, took head cover off, valve seat had became loose, fell out, just floating around in there. Went got a new valve seat at the now defunct small engine parts store. Cleaned area for install, used Loctite and peened the edges of valve seat and block casting, back together and ran like a champ.
From time to time I stumble upon these videos of "free" stuff! Never cease to amaze me, that on my neck of the woods. The only "free" thing I can get is headaches! LOL 😂 Nicely done!
I like the fact that hes a young man and has so many tools that he knows how to use. I got a pop up asking me what I thought about one of your videos. What do they mean? Video quality, sound, content, presentation? I watch because I enjoy coming along when you work. I never had a formal apprenticeship for any of the things I worked at. I worked with people who knew what they were doing, watched, tried not to ask stupid questions while I learned the basics and the flow of it. So watching is how I've always learned. and while I don't plan on doing excavation or heavy equipment mechanics, I do enjoy absorbing processes. You do a good job "bringing us with you when you go do the next thing".
Said that once.... Boss thought it was funny after I told him I lost a brand new ladder because it came out of the bed of my truck and was run over by a dump truck.
He seemed to have trouble finding good lift points, that's why he flipped it. The straps were below the center of mass. The only problem with this video is it was too short.

Not sure if that'd fix the surging. $20 carbs sometimes surge, my understanding, and listening this Crafstman here, after "fixup," ... so some say that "the China carb screws won't even work" ... Nikki or Walbro carb ? BTW? Might make a diff? ; elsewise great vid. needs nailed down concrtete indication wether OEM carb kit = > or < value than the $20 knockoff ... couldn't hurt to spill the whole beans.

The blades on lawn movers are soft to protect something more expensive to break if you hit something hard not supposed to be cut. I remember this pond from an old video. Keep them coming, love your channel!

the blades are for grass not rocks and branches and dirt hills .. plus it looked like the star on the shafts were shot also ,, power washing the engine did not help it nor did the roll over when he unloaded it that will flood a engine ,, the blades are not soft there hardened steel .. you can put a hunk of metal same size in a vice and bend it by hand you will have a hard time bending the blades by hand ,,

Before I work on anything I put gloves on degrease everything with acid soap very potent the. Pressure wash it off then I proceed and begin to work on it sometimes o will try to see if it will run and then clean it but only on stuff that is pretty far gone

I’ve been watching Mustie1 videos for 5 years and he finds mouse nests in literally everything he’s ever worked on, and he’s never gotten a mouse on camera like that.
Thinking about that mouse being in there when the tractor flipped upside down and gave the driveway the people's elbow made it 10x funnier. Tough little guy. He's probably living in some other tractor summer at the beach now.
Given Andrew's clear love of animals, if the mouse had any sense, it would have run into Andrew's arms, and would have had a great life. Kody and the Mouse would have accompanied Andrew on every job!
Your a jack of all trades which is good in your business but loved the way you loaded and unloaded the tractor when you got home. Never thought it would run after dropping it off of your trailer. Im a 50yo MEngineer. My hobbies are also very inclined to technical categories and watching Andrew do what he loves doing I can sit, watch it and relate. That hack he did putting a towel inside a bottle and blow air would make dry faster is something new I just learn from this young gentleman.

Not sure if that'd fix the surging. $20 carbs sometimes surge, my understanding, and listening this Crafstman here, after "fixup," ... so some say that "the China carb screws won't even work" ... Nikki or Walbro carb ? BTW? Might make a diff? ; elsewise great vid. needs nailed down concrtete indication wether OEM carb kit = > or < value than the $20 knockoff ... couldn't hurt to spill the whole beans.

The blades on lawn movers are soft to protect something more expensive to break if you hit something hard not supposed to be cut.

yes, its where him and a lady friend about sank that old row boat from loading that huge walk behind mower thing in the boat getting to the island !! LOL
the blades are for grass not rocks and branches and dirt hills .. plus it looked like the star on the shafts were shot also ,, power washing the engine did not help it nor did the roll over when he unloaded it that will flood a engine ,, the blades are not soft there hardened steel .. you can put a hunk of metal same size in a vice and bend it by hand you will have a hard time bending the blades by hand ,,

Wonderful to see Andrew clean the mower before the "Will it start". I get irked by other YTers who go out and try and start the dirtiest, most overgrown thing without any ground prep or cleaning. If you are going to work on it, spend a few minutes to make the working environment clean and safer" /rant off

Before I work on anything I put gloves on degrease everything with acid soap very potent the. Pressure wash it off then I proceed and begin to work on it sometimes o will try to see if it will run and then clean it but only on stuff that is pretty far gone

"A free mouse!" That made it worth the effort right there. It was quite an adventure from the get go especially for the mouse! That trailer seemed a little "inconsistent" for the load. But it worked. I liked how graciously you were able to unload the mower. "That's not going anywhere."

I’ve been watching Mustie1 videos for 5 years and he finds mouse nests in literally everything he’s ever worked on, and he’s never gotten a mouse on camera like that.
In one of his older lawn tractor videos he spins the motor with the starter a mouse (Which looks alive) comes flying out of the engine lol.
There was some live mice/mouse that went running out when he started his 89 Volkswagen when he first got it sometime in 2011
Thinking about that mouse being in there when the tractor flipped upside down and gave the driveway the people's elbow made it 10x funnier. Tough little guy. He's probably living in some other tractor summer at the beach now.

Your a jack of all trades which is good in your business but loved the way you loaded and unloaded the tractor when you got home. Never thought it would run after dropping it off of your trailer. Good job Andrew on getting it fixed. A little bit of time and money and you saved yourself $1200.00 dollars over a new one.

Im a 50yo MEngineer. My hobbies are also very inclined to technical categories and watching Andrew do what he loves doing I can sit, watch it and relate. That hack he did putting a towel inside a bottle and blow air would make dry faster is something new I just learn from this young gentleman.
