IF YOUR WATCHING THIS WITH AND STUCCI ISNT SHOWING- go from edit mode to object mode and you should see your displacement! :)
Hahahah everyone puts out super long detailed videos and this dude be like "Yeah, just add 2 mondifiers" and has a better looking cave. Awesome work man! Love it!
I'll use that in the future. I'm currently planning my final uni project, it'll be a video of the camera traveling around a low poly(ish) island with a vulcano. Thanks for your effort
Hi!
Thank you for letting us know what you think. We're glad you found it helpful. Good luck with your project, it sounds great!
wow. Probably the coolest blender tutorial ive ever seen
Honestly surprised on how easy it could be, exactly what I was looking for appreciate it!
Thanks a lot, I didn't realize how simple it was to create a cave.
I was so close to clicking off, but this turned out to be the best cave tutorial I've ever seen for 3d software! So glad I stuck around.
Awsome video, helped me out a lot with level design!
Dude I've been trying to make a stylized cave for a few weeks watching all these hyper realistic cave tutorials (Their like the only ones) trying to repurpose them for my needs. This 100% beats constantly extruding, shaping, sculpting, etc. Thank you so much.
Awesome tutorial! Short and straight to the point.
Amazing. That was exactly what I needed
Super super helpful. Will definitely use this in my level design.
Man, this is awesome! You rocks!
This is Super efficient! Thanks for the help
Thanks for the video. Really needed a fast and simple tutorial.
Thanks, needed something easy and fast and ur tutorial was just that!
Very helpful! Thanks for making this video!
Amazing work!!!
hey man i apreciate your work thanks for the help!
Exactly what i needed! Thanks!
This was so helpful. Thank you!!!!!🙏
absolutely helpfull, thank you so much!!!!
Damn dis is probably the best blender tutorial I've seen
THANK YOU THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL
I have literally been trying to do this for a week and you just make a 4 minute video, I didn't know its so easy I-
Great work
Very nice m8, thanks a lot!
1:08 I didn't even know this existed! The amount of time this could have saved me lol
Wery usefull. Thank you
Wow! Absolutely underrated channel!
THANKS A LOT!
Thank You SO MUCH! Now I Can Make A Proper Cave For My Horror Game I'm Working On!
thank you looks good:)
thank you very much thats worked perfectly for me
great video :)
I take it you can split the tunnel in segments and import to Unreal, if you need it to be on different levels, such as including doors that leads to another level etc.....
thank you very eazy!
thank you so much for this guide.
for the last part i was wondering why the material wasnt working but i didnt see at the top right there was display material in preview mode..
thank you
Very very helpful! Thumbs up and subscribed! Please make more cave videos for blender "extra stuff" we can do..
Every time I feel completely overwhelmed with my big ideas,a tutorial like this comes along and I think it'll all be okay. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you.
thanks!
Veri good geim. Uell programed
im planing to make a game with a church on a hill so this will be great for under the church! thanks!!!
how do you extrude with that specific angle?
Great tutorial! Loved it. However I had some issues mesh collider in unity, most likely due to the displacement modifier. Did any one else experience this and have a fix?
Why Thanks!
How would you add a collision barrier to this so that a player wouldn't fall through? the only collision barriers I've really worked with have been with the preset box or cylinder ones in unreal.
Is it possible to sculpt from the inside, i.e. being inside an already hollow object, moving inside and further deepening it, shaping it, etc.?
So my cave model looks great but when I apply a material, the entrance looks right but the rest of it is just this stretched mess? How do I fix it?
Hey man, I have a project due and used this but when I’ve exported & imported into Unreal, its see through inside. Any fixes? Backface culling wasnt on either 😩
OH no.. im sorry to bother you but i need your help. I did everything you did in the video, but when i put it into Unity EVERYTHING goes though the cave. Like the mesh of the mountains goes though the cave i made. If i drag it out and see the cave enterence i can't go into the cave entrance because the side of the mountain goes THROUGH the cave blocking it.
Maybe others have this problem, so perhaps you can just tell me what to do? Thank you.
When I change the texture, it does not affect the displacement modifier on my cave system. I don't know what to change. my displacement modifier has the same settings as yours. Same as my cave system
What part of the tutorial stops working for you?
Is it when you create a new texture (it should become a bit bigger like it does in the video), when you change the texture mode from image or movie to Stucci, or is it at some other point?
@@aqualood Thanks for the quick reply, I figured it out after an hour of searching, haha. I was still on edit mode, but changing to a different mode like sculpt or object mode showed me the changes. (Before I switched modes, changing the texture and displacement modifier showed no effects) Not sure if there is a setting that should be checked so it shows in all modes...
I have this problem that when I add the decimate nothing happens can you help?
Hi, im not sure how you did the cut part 2:20, where on the model am i pressing R?
@Crux 89 no 😭
You press ctrl r to add the loop cut, you don’t have to click anything on the model since it’s already in edit mode. I was having the same issue lol
@@jordanfangon2468 Thanks
i think it just work for solid colors, when i put some rock texture on extruded faces , they get stretched :(
Hello!
It sounds like the problem might be due to your UVs. Try looking into UV unwrapping and modify the size of the faces to get rid of the stretching.
Sooo i got everything but when i import it into unreal engine there is invisible colliders all around preventing me from going in. Any idea what is causing this? Great tutorial btw!
Nevermind i figured it out!
I don't understand what do you do and what do you press at 2.20.
i want to import it into unity but i cant go inside but still thank you
for some reason there is all this random light inside the cave...is there a way to get rid of the light in it?
probably the light object?
2:14 what did he press?
bro i cant able to make the tunnel bruh the extraction of cube is not working
is it better to do creates levels and worlds in Blender or is it better to do in Unity?
It depends on the type of game you are making. If you're planning on making a procedurally generated game, Unity would be the way to go, but for parts of a level, you can do it in Blender and then import it in Unity.
Хэй, если я это использую для игры, слабые камютеры случайно не сгарят?
How do you rotate it
How to rotate? Did you figure it out? I need to know how to rotate
I know this is old I did this to make a cave and the texture is all goofy someone help please
I’m unsure what you mean by goofy, if you’re using a image as a texture and it’s all weird try looking into UVs, I’m unsure what else you could mean I hope this helps
@@ContinuedOak i figured it out the faces were stretched
@@PerMo387 glad you figured it out!
Selecting and pressing E does nothing on the cube
0:30 how to rotate guys ?
Figured it out myself E extrude R rotates
