Personally I wouldn’t waste my energy on goldbridge, the only time he is worth watching is when United are winning and then they get pegged back and lose the game and in turn he loses his sh*t. Go and have look, there is nothing better than watching a United fan give it large and then almost start crying, and the best bit is it happens every other game 🤣🤣.

John, I was having a butchers at who won the leagues over the years. If United were first instead of second they would have won the league 10 times in a row twice! And Liverpool, if they did the same thing they would have won it 18 times in a row. But City winning it 3 times in a row is just…well we can’t be having that

As much as I hate to admit Goldbridge is clever - he obviously is, and it's carefully calculated posts like that which made him a fortune.
He comes out with absolute bullshit, but what he says is to meant to appeal to the braindead Rags and other oppo fans... tells them what they want to hear.
Take this "rant" - which it isn't, he had scripted it for the event City were ahead at half time... well, everything he says is complete bollocks.
City are going to win the league? Are we? Got a few games left yet, some tricky games in there too!
It's boring? Before Arsenal lost to Villa and Liverpool lost to Palace (neither results anything to do with City) everyone was saying this was the most exciting PL in years.... and the fact he claimed he was turning it off, was because City were winning - not because it was boring... as a City fan, I've never sat down to watch a live United match... EVER... unless they're playing us - so they must be boring by his argument, right?
Then he brings up the relegation teams... well the season hasn't ended yet and one of Luton and Burnley can still escape relegation... but let's look at it historically, all three promoted teams being relegated the same season has only happened once since the PL started and last season NONE of the promoted teams were relegated!
Like you say, the reason he chose to support United in the first place is because they were winning the league all the time when he was young!
One last thing - re the "boring" jibe... go and watch Ian Cheeseman's vlog from this season's Real Madrid in the first leg at the Bernabau... he talks to a Spanish journalist at half time who says "Manchester City play beautiful football and Real Madrid play practical football"

It was the best title run in years when Liverpool and Arsenal were above us and well in front. As soon as they dropped points and we caught up it's all doom and gloom and the PL is boring again.
It's not our fault they keep slipping up at crunch time. We haven't really got great results against the other top teams this year but we are still in with a chance of winning. Maybe when Pep leaves our time will come to an end or at least fizzle out a bit but until then it's our time to enjoy it. As for Utd fans, I think they need to stay in their lane and pray they qualify for European football in some form. They should be asking how they have managed to spend so much and gave such large wage bills yet fail so badly so often.

Look, as a Madrid fan, I agree with him on the point that the league as a tournament got boring because you know at the beginning of the season who's gonna win it. I was 99% confident City would win it this season, and I'm 99% confident they'll win it next season.
I'm maybe like 70% confident Madrid will win La Liga next season.
And the UCL is where things get REALLY interesting, since it it such an exciting tournament, specifically because it's so hard to accurately predict at the beginning of the season who would win it. I thought City were clear favorites this year, but I was wrong. I thought Barcelona were clear favorites in 2010 and 2012, but I was wrong. I thought we were clear favorites in 2015, but I was wrong. Over the last 10 years, I've been correct with my EPL winner prediction 8 out of 10 times, soon to be 9 out of 11. That is the part I find boring. I think in terms of the number of amazing individual games that have big turn-arounds and whatnot, it's got more of that than any other domestic league in the world, but the ultimate outcome is quite easy to ser beforehand most of the time
