I was 13 when this song came out. I haven't heard it in decades and surprised myself by bursting into tears as soon as it started. And I still know every word. Such a beautiful song - the words and his voice.

Yeah I completely agree about Jerry Butler. The two songs listed here are great (For Your Precious Love and He Will Break Your Heart) - and his duet with Betty Everett “Smile” is silky smooth

Im in heaven...please dont stop reacting to the 60's....music had such meaning and feeling to it...and lyrics showed the respect men and women had for each other...not like disrepectful music of today..thanks for this!

Carole King was a hit writing machine!!! You might like to try The Shirelles - “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”, The Drifters - 'Up On the Roof', and maybe The Chiffons - 'One Fine Day' to begin your foray into her 60s gems recorded by other artists whose careers were made singing her songs.

I looked through your reaction videos and I think you would love the Jazz Icon, Louis Armstrong, singing Its a Wonderful World. You should react to his live version in 1967. I think you'll really be floored by this song. He was a superb Jazz trumpet player but he also sang with some of the other greats such as Elle Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. But his iconic song was "It's a Wonderful world".

I would love it if you did a Sixties Saturday or Sixties Sunday's. No one else is. This and 50's music is what I grew up with and it's such a pleasure to hear these great cuts. There are so many great artists from those days you'd never run out of great songs.

I can related to what you are saying about your uncle. That is how I felt about a lot of the 70's music. Granted now I appreciate it. But it was always playing and at weddings the bands would be singing those songs. Especially the Eagles "Lying Eyes". Eagles everywhere. I was so ready for the 80's when I became a teenager. It took me a while to start listening to 70's music again. And your reactions help me appreciate the music more. The way you break the songs down and talk about the instruments. I don't know a lot the things your are explaining, especially organs.
I would listen to the oldies station a lot when I was young and it was 50's and 60's music, so I'm familiar with all the songs you have been reacting today. But the first time I heard this song was a 45 my sister had of Donny Osmond. The Osmonds where a family band. Many people make fun of them today and then, but oh well. I still like them. My first album was a Donny Osmond album. Donny Osmond was friends with Michael Jackson. If you don't know who they are here is a short video: czcams.com/video/UcxZ3k0y4G0/video.html
Disclaimer: I'm not comparing the two groups I just like the video, because it was music I loved as a child.
