Might be cool to see if you can implement a voice activation like “check control surfaces” and bam! Your parts start doing their thing. I know that’s a big thing. It would be cool though.
The arduino resetting problem you talked about at the end might be flyback voltage from the servo motors. It's basically an EM field created by the motor which induces a current in the wires. You can add a capacitor across the + and - of the servo to absorb the spike. Btw really nice suit!

I’ve tried to make a set of iron man armor multiple times, but It never gets to turn out as cool as these suits I see other people making.
The reason of your arduino reseting is because a motor (servo in this case) when it stops it generates an inverse current that mesh with the arduino electronics (basicaly a diode) and that micro power shortage is what keep reseting the system.
I have had similar problems in other projects. Adding a capacitor between + and - of the servo can solve the problem but having an independent power supply is better option (having into account that electronics like LEDs, arduino... uses like miliamps and servos several amps).
For context, i have been designing an ironman suit using the base MK6 model from Do3D for the last 6 or 7 years with voice commands, an android app with Bluetooth, fog, sound, lights, flags and missile movement... and this kind of videos show to me that it is posible to do and to get ideas.
As an software engineer, developing all the systems with arduino and ESP32 is quite fordward, but editing the STL is a nightmare for me 😅

Hey. I love everything you are doing here and I’m in the process of building one too. What I’m wondering is ; your top ailerons ,Did the file have a hinge or did you make that.? Not the motorization kit that you made ( which is awesome by the way) but where the actual flap mounts to the top of the shoulder area.
I’ve got the file set from Johan3d which I’m assuming you do too
And I’m noticing what I printed is not hinged.

What degree of motion servo do you use for the flaps? I cant find 90, so I'm assuming its either 180 or 270
which mark is this suit and where can i find the files ?

Any thoughts on do3d flaps with precut slots that aren't even close to perpendicular like the mk46?

Thanks! I’ve made quite a few iron man suits when I was younger, but they were all foam. Python is my first 3D printed suit, and hopefully not the last!

Are the backflaps already separated with the files you had or you manualy modeled them?
They were already separated with the model I got, but I needed to add hinges and modify the back and whatnot to make them motorized
What is your tool settings in arduino like the libraries and connecting arduino nano

a Creality CR-6 SE, an Anycubic Kobra Plus, and Anycubic Kobra Max :)
I think if I plan to do this I will used a random delay and random movement to made flaps moving
good call, I tried my best to get it to be as random as possible but it was quite difficult to get the delay commands juuuuust right
@@plentifulprops3d it need more conding expérience but i guess the good way is to make a fonction returning a random delay and move and another making the values not killing the suit 😅

Where is the stl for this suit
You can’t get the STL file for the entire suit in one fileset, because it’s composed of different parts from different suits. Mark 33 helmet and mark 17 legs are by Do3D, and the mark 7 body is by Johan3dprintmaster on Instagram
Is there any way to add smoke without vapes?
The only other method I’m aware of is using pressurized air (like those little cans to clean computers and whatnot), those can produce a pretty cool jet effect!

The MK39 Starboost helmet by Walsh3D and tu e MK85 helmet by Levy3D are both free and motorized

I made a mk7 but it isn’t motorized so do you mind if I just steal your chest, back, arms and Abs. You can keep the legs and helmet 😂
