    Hi Mark, I just bought a whole reel of Pros Pro Blackout, can you give your opinion to this string too?

  • @vanlendl1
    @vanlendl1 Před 2 lety

    FIVE 660ft reels of Pro's Pro Vendetta (1.25mm or 1.30mm) cost total 70 Euro in Europe.
    Once, I spoke to somebody who worked for a big tennis store. He told me, that they order 5000 reels for around 5 Euro each from China. Polyester strings are all made of the same stuff.
    That Pros Pro Vendetta is a very soft string and is worth every penny. It is a very good choice for a Prestige 600.

    Hey Mark,
    As I messaged you on Instagram regarding the Stringmeter, it's not very reliable and often not calibrated correctly. The only thing I could recommend is the Stringlab 2 from a Dutch company called Stringway!

    Btw..it’s hard to find something that’s accurate. When I string racquets I use the gamma tension meter to see the tension loss/difference over time

    Hi Mark, Great Video . i have been using many of the pro's pro brand ordering from racquet depo. I ve pretty much used all the strings they have, but Stratgem 8, Red Devil, Eruption, Black Eruption and Hex power are my favorites - all 17 gauge.

  • @ReidVV
    @ReidVV Před 3 lety

    Please try Genesis strings. Their Black Magic is the flagship, but Hexonic is better with good pocketing, control and decent spin. Genesis Trionic is a cheaper Volkl V-Square. Also, another under the radar string is Gamma Moto (I like 17g). It also is a shaped poly and plays very similar to Hyper-G and can be found cheaper. Moto also comes in a soft version which is nice. Head Lynx (not Tour) is also good. Similar to Moto/Hyper-G.

    Check the ert-300 tennis computer, it’s what the pro stringers mostly use to check tension.

    • @a2casius
      @a2casius Před 3 lety +4

      The ERT is discontinued and besides if you manage to get one for the $300 price tag, it uses a "vibration" technique similar to if you were whacking the string to get a tune out of it which what Racquet Tune requires. Both have issues, especially at the lower tension range and require you to input data to get data out .... So, you may end up with "Rubbish In, Rubbish Out". Their accuracy is purely to measure Consistency of the string job and most important, measuring Variances. Even if the actual "Absolute" measure of Tension may not be accurate, at least the measure of how much tension has dropped is accurate.

    • @mattiacalvani5528
      @mattiacalvani5528 Před 3 lety +2

      @@a2casius I didn’t know it was discontinued , the only other one that comes to mind is the chromatic string tuner from a company called pro-t-one but I don’t know the cost nor how much it differ from the ERT.
