Budget FFTCG - $50 Mono-Water GigaWoL (Hidden Hope Opus 22)

Note that I discovered that Materia Hunter's prices don't include the LB deck until after the video was recorded so I made a few adjustments to the list here to accommodate it. I think the same list shown but with only 1 Tidus is better but I wanted to keep all of the decks as under $50 dollars.

See the description - Materia Hunter had a small bug. The current list only had room for a single WoL and Tidus due to a small pricing error on Materia Hunter. The updated deck list is the sub 50 - however, the first thing I'd do is add the second Warrior of Light if I had the budget. Thanks for watching and enjoy!

I love this! I also like the suggestions regarding how to upgrade it. Your video regarding budget retainers was huge in getting me into the game and dipping my toes into trading and buying singles for it. And now totally fallen down the rabbit hole.

An interesting experiment. I’d like to see how other mono element lists can be made viable on a budget. As another place to start looking, perhaps a mono Fire list. I’ve been eyeing Samurai as a potential budget build, but there is the question of what cards can be added in on a budget that improves its game plan.

Sadly, Lightning in particular is extremely budget unfriendly for a solid deck. I’m trying to build tournament ready decks so… there’s some color restrictions considering a single WoL or Rufus or Irvine burns basically the whole budget. I do have 4 decks that I’m very happy with though and genuinely think they could do well everywhere except the very highest level.
