I love these 2 together, Ncuti is so charming, quirky, fizzy, cheeky and brave while Millie is robust, reliable, quick-witted and pro active, they make such a good team ☺️

Like, I'm pretty sure (I might be wrong) that your birthday in the normal calendar and your birthday in the lunar calendar coincide every 19 years. And they made Ruby 19.
And they also gave her a name that is basically like Ruby Tuesday.

Millie is Amazing as Ruby and I am really sad she is only going to be in the show for 1 season.
I am but I think it would be good to avoid the Doctor and companion leaving at the same time thing. Also, I still don't think that we've done enough multiple companions that leave at different times in modern Who.

@@llt8101 do you mean companions that join together but leave separately? Cos we had that with Chibnalls era. Graham, Ryan and Yaz joined together in series 11. Graham and Ryan left in series 12 and then Yaz left in series 13
@@mrdr0161 No. We had that with the first ever trio of companions (Barbara, Ian and Susan). I mean how after that the companions didn't have to arrive together and leave together but there was hardly just one until Jon Pertwee but arguably The Brigadier and some of the other UNIT members count as companions, too.

Now it's just a matter of waiting until this Christmas special and the Tenant ones come out on DVD... unless BBC are going to let Disney somehow prevent Australia from getting them
Honestly loved this episode. Was super fun and feels like something that just wasn't there with the writing in Jodie's era (despite Jodie giving a great performance)
Only issue I really had was that the doctor could actually sing & dance. Think it could've done with being a bit more clumsier and mental like 11 dancing at Amy and Rory's wedding but everything else was fab!
Edit: I forgot about the new sonic Screwdriver. Let's just not talk about that
No one blames Jodi for that run, Chris as a show runner was a terrible decision all around.

This episode wasn’t to great but overall I accept the fact it’s a Christmas Special so it isn’t as crazy hype as full episodes

Hated it, full of Dance and dance music however, I've had 60 years of watching Dr Who from day 1 but now it time to change and reflect our modern society. I'm sure these episodes will be extremely popular and had it not been for Russel T Davies and Steven Moffat, we would've never seen a lot of new Doctors and some incredible stories. So enjoy the show everyone for maybe another 60 years!

Same, It just doesn’t make sense anymore. The Doctor crying is rare, and he cries over someone he barely knows. Plus, he killed the goblin king, so there goes his morals too. It’s all backwards now.

I was so excited for this episode, but the acting was just not there for me. I could feel them trying but failing to put the lines out . Also the plot was trash, and I hate when shows turn into a musical. They had a lot more chemistry behind the scenes. It didn’t translate well to the screen

Ruby's whole reaction in the rooftop felt really off to me. First she sees the goblins and has no reaction to them and after that she is like "oh, my God. I'm on the rooftop". Girl, didn't you just went through the window a minute ago and climed up there? Where else were you expecting to be? Why are you surprised?
They probably wanted her to be scared, but Millie didn't deliver that, in my opinion. Despite this moment, I really loved her performance overall.
She literally said I haven't had any time to think. Put it together man.
