@AmateurHourMTG opening up storm with green tutors can speed up mana, combo, and even hate if need be. Green is such a powerful color, and the brews I've seen are epic.

Great game!! Chaser in hindsight, do you think you should have tried to mulligan for more fast mana to play Talion as soon as possibly?
The play was there for turn 2 Talion. T1 Land -> counter Lotus Petal with Offer for two treasures -> Turn 2 land.

They're just cast, not at instant speed. Guessing that the confusion stems from the delay not in graveyard. The delay resolved, it just wasn't set in graveyard because it was a moot point.
