Man, I remembered "Nightshade" was my favorite best childhood game on PS2 and also I hope they get chance to remaster it like "Nightshade and Shinobi" but it been out early in 2000s something the time goes by fast now.
@@ocult100 The only thing I hate about this game is the main character herself. Her swords are too short, sometimes you can't even reach the enemy, despite the fact that you get so close already. Hisui and Hotsuma are great, though
@@ocult100 Agreed, games from those years usually have great OSTs. Just think of all the Silent Hills, Armored Core 2-3 and so on. And Hibana is just a cool protagonist, plain and simple.

After really enjoyed the first Shinobi Ps2 episode(finish 5 times at 200% with the legendary Joe Musashi🤩), I passed this game in 2004 because of the too futuristic and techno ambiant(so no rock'n roll in this one). With your walkthrough somehow I regret it, because first it really follow the story of Hotsuma with the golden palace at the end plus Akujiki. More than that now I appreciate more the soundtrack which has something special. Thanks to Shinobi 3D soundtrack which gives me another Shinobi vibes those last days😍🥰. Sega still awesome.
I remember I had this back in the day and I got super frustrated with the flaming moth boss. I had trouble targeting the smaller moths and turned it off, traded it in, and got something else. Jokes on me, this game got pricey. Guess Ill have to save up and get it again and maybe not suck at it this time.
i remember my mom picked me up from school to go to the dentist, after that she got me this game from a shop called e-plaze in the netherlands!! this game was so fire back than. this one, zone of the enders 2 and orphen scion of sorcery were one of my favo games
I'm wondering this same exact thing. I had to set the Skip Draw Range to 1/1 in advance hardware hacks settings that sorta helped but it's still lil slow. my computer is fairly new too so idk what's up
whats the best character to use in this game? i finished shinobi when i was a kid/teen way back on ps2, didnt know the game had a sequel, i remember shinobi frustrating me with the platforming i would die from pits and bad camera controls, with this in mind wich character should i play? is the new girl ninja stronger and better at platforming than the shinobi ninja? there is also mushashi with infinite kunais is he better than the other characters?
Better than Shinobi, you could learn to use your floating kicks to stay in the air, killing your enemies, by then your basically flying, master your darkside saber and you'll be able to cut though enemies one time and takes massive damages to bosses
when you do more attacks it fills up. when one section is filled you can do a very powerful ranged attack by holding down the attack button (Hibana sends out three holograms at whatever your targeting) it's EXTREMELY useful but is never mentioned in game, only in the manual so i dont blame ya 😅
I'm at the boss fight at 1:27:25 and everytime I try to one shot the boss by doing tate on all the other enemies, the stupid game auto targets the boss randomly instead of the rest of the enemies. So I only kill 2 or 3 enemies and then auto target the boss, hitting him, ruining my 1 shot kill. And the camera is ass too, half the time the targeted enemy is off the screen and you can't even see who you're targeting. You just see the blue arrow aiming in that direction.
The soundtrack in Nightshade and Shinobi is insane.

Why dont you kill the enemies in boss fights, you can kill bosses alot faster that way if you use combos to power up your sword
