- In this video, I share my Valspar Furniture Paint review and how we found using this paint.
After using Valspar Furniture Paint on our coffee bar cabinets, front and back doors, laundry room cabinets, guest bathroom cabinets, and a vintage hutch we bought on Facebook Marketplace, I can honestly say the claims it makes are true and you will not be disappointed with this furniture paint!

Spoke with Valspar about this paint. I wanted information on painting cabinets using a HVLP (high velocity low volume) sprayer to apply the paint. HVLP sprayers are inexpensive and easy to use. An application with a HVLP sprayer is simple and easy to do and gives good results.
However, to apply the paint you need some basic information, such as viscosity and recommended tip size. To make a long story short, I spent an hour speaking to Valspar experts.
They know nothing, could not help as they were not allowed to have that information. One actually told me the paint was only for DIY use with a brush or roller. He also informed me all cabinet makers use "Airless sprayers"! I am sure this will be news to us making cabinets!

How long for total cure? Mine is still sticky and scratches off after 24hrs😢
Total cure is 2 weeks but you should be able to lightly use them after 24 hours…
