The SP-01 is one of my favorite pistols. I run mine with a Streamlight TLR-1 and she stays on my night stand.
I can't justify buying a CZ Shadow, but this CZ looks gorgeous and is in my budget. Thanks for the video review!!

Definitely appreciate the review on the SP01. Haven't seen many, but it looks like a very shootable and collectible gun.
(Low Bore Axis) So basically it's an optical illusion because the frame is wrapped around the slide. So it looks like the barrel could be sitting lower than it actually is! 😎👍
I have one and I love it. I couldn't afford the shadow which was double the price so I just put the blue grips on my SP01 and now I'm happy. If you hold them side-by-side the shadow is definitely a little bigger and a little nicer feel. So as long as I don't do that I'll stay happy with what I have.
More and more I'm wanting to get a CZ75 style pistol. I have a few 1911's and an M&P, but I have my eye out for another higher capacity firearm that's still concealable. I really like the lines and look of the CZ, just something classy about it.
I have one and purchased many years ago after reading about it. A wonderful gun, very accurate, heavy but adds to accuracy. Very dependable. Very accurate with a great trigger. GET ONE
Recently subscribed and love your videos and sense of humor. Nice video and definitely love the Sp01, I carry a P01 omega as my edc and it has been great. Cz ergos are great and have always loved them. Watching out of ne tn so somewhat familiar with some of the places you talk about which is pretty cool. Keep up the good work.
I have always liked these CZsses. They remind me of the Beretta Storms. I had a Storm 40sw years ago and it was awesome. My groups improved by an inch over my Smith and Wesson of the same size.
I don't understand why 40 isn't very popular any more. It is pretty close to perfect. Perfect being 45 acp of course.

I just scored a used in new shape sp01 from pawnshop for 550.
Has tritium fiber night sights installed and couldn't leave without it.
Now 8ve got the 07 and 09 tactical and my sp01.
Good break down on the sp01 tactical. Really nice gun that can flex into lots of different uses. The slide does have a bushing. The roll pin serves double duty holding the front sight and retaining the bushing. You could…spend even more money and swap it out for an accu bushing when replace that front sight. 😊

Watching this reminds me I wanted to swap out the polymer guide rods for stainless steel in both P01 and P07.

Did you polish your barrel to stainless steel, or did you buy one? How did you do it? Mirror or no? Any adverse or negative aspects from doing it? Devalue the gun in any way?

@@fjb4932 nah. It's an all steel gun with not as much reciprocating mass in the slide so it's much softer shooting. Add that extra frame weight for the rail and slap a light on it and it's as close to shooting a 22 as a 9mm can be.

have you seen the cz czech mate race gun thats my favorite cz i think it looks awesome i also noticed you own a 1911 emissary , before that gun came out i was looking at getting a custom 1911 because i wanted a bull barrel and tri top cut slide but no arms manufactuer had a model straight from the factory with those features but then springfield armory saved my wallet and now im getting an emissary instead of a 3000$ 1911 i have a question does the emissary have less recoil than other 45acp 1911s?
