You sound like a very good and hard working mom. Sometimes with kids who are picky eaters (and many are!) it's more important to get some type of food into them than try to force them to eat the healthiest food (which they won't do). It sounds like you have found good ways to include fruits and veggies in a way your daughter will eat them. Kudos! Happy New Year to you and your daughter.
Yes my 6 year old son also has ADHD yes I have him a teething ring. Also I have to do the same thing, I have to pick the little green parsey in his soup noodles.
Understand the adhd child Emily..,my daughter Has adhd and she is 29.they don’t outgrow it and they are very picky.. ..,her son needs to be tested now.. textures are a issue for him certain foods he won’t even touch the item.. any seafood he don’t even want you in the same room….he won’t eat jelly or peanut butter and ketchup but eats bbq sauce on any meat we give him.. I can’t keep bbq sauce..I think you did well for $150.00…. I wish I could lower mine I’m still spending $300 a month and it’s just for me.. but I’m working on a pantry challlenge for the month of January.. Happy New Year to you and your daughter…thank you for showing the low income how to budget…. I have always done it and think you are doing very well with what you have..And you will be that homeowner one day Claim it.. I have cerebral palsy and I worked my way off welfare with only a social security check.. was I crazy? Yes.. but I was determined.. it’s been 10 years no assistance .. best decision I ever made…. Chewing is a sign of sensory overload. Anything crunchy or chewy helps. I would avoid anything with red dyes. That only makes ADHD worse. Crunchy Cheetos, kettle chips, gum, jerky and beef sticks. They have spinner rings that help calm, sold on Amazon.

She don’t always remember the chewing necklace so I use the gum as an alternative. Sometimes she don’t have it on her.
