8:24 the Human Voice said Warning! This is used only in Sega Dreamcast.
1:10 I'm concerned on holding the label side to stop the disc from spinning because PS1 games are CD based which the data is on the label side and if frequently touch the protective layer eventually wears down and destroys the aluminum which damage the disc. It's much better to open the lid while the PS1 is running to allow the electronic brake to stop the disc from spinning. Unlike PS2 games which most games are DVD (except blue disc which are CD) which the data is sandwitched between plastic and not as vulnerable to damage.

When you put a forgin disk in play station one,the startup sounds dissorted.

Try putting other discs (Windows CD for example) and it should give a Red Screen of Death
I think that what was going on internally was one of a few things:
*The later Play Station versions had a different code, causing the Play Station 1 to become confused and not recognize it as a playable game
*Later Play Station games required more RAM due to improved hardware and so the Play Station 1 realized this and wouldn't load it as a playable game
*Both of the above
It’s because the PS1 has a CD format, while the PS2 has DvD, and later models have Blu-Ray. It didn’t realize the disc was there. Wii games had a different type of DvD technology but can only play Wii games, and for old models, GameCube games, and the Wii U had a different type of Blu-Ray technology but can only play Wii and Wii U games.

Theres one way u can make these discs “work”. Its called disc swapping (do at ur own risk, it may damage ur disc if ur not careful). However, that may play fearful harmony
That's for discs (CDr's) with ps1 games burnt onto them. Game discs from other consoles won't ever play on ps1, no matter what you do.

Best console CD drive I've ever seen, those kind of automatic tray loaded CD drive consoles jam and when they jam you cannot get the disc out and drives like the PlayStation 1 the disc never gets jammed or stuck, I wish every console that was ever made that used CDs or discs used those type of disk drives I love that the top is spring-loaded definitely recommend the next gen console have that type of PS1 CD drive, hopefully soon I'll probably send my Xbox 360 into a modern shop to get a better CD ROM in a manual disc tray that has a handle on it so I can open it manually

Maximilian Mustinger due to the ps3 having a something call a cell-processor it is almost impossible to emulate ps3 games. Plus the chip was one of the reasons why the ps3 was expensive when it first came out.

Andryhdxd Thought it was the firat 2 versions. but only for a short time before the second veraion was patched. first version had physical hardware. second version had emulation, which is why it got patched. can't patch hardware lol could be wrong about that, but I'm fairly certain.
