- Sky News host Liz Storer says Australia should not be “sending a cent” of aid to Ukraine as its war with Russia continues.
Mr Storer joined Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus to discuss the latest aid support from the government.
“I’ve said until I’m blue in the face and I will continue to say it - this is not our war,” she said.
“This is NATO’s war, it’s in the name - North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, we have nothing to do with it.
“If you look at the history of this, in 1990 Gorbachev was promised by NATO not an inch eastward - that was the line that we’re all familiar with and NATO then promptly snaffled up Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and seven other countries.”

I wasted my time, nothing I did made this a better country. It breaks my heart to see honest hard working Australians living in tents in parks. Many of these people go to work and come back to a tent, the government is happy to take their tax dollars while they live in the street.

1 billion dollars could purchase a large number of transportable building home's to put a roof over their heads.
( similar to what the mining industry use make small village's to house there fly in fly out worker ) know as Donga's
They can range from 2-3 bedroom complete with kitchen shower toilet.
Not large but livable & a dam site safer for women & children than a tent or sleeping outdoors is .

I have just mentioned the only way that will make ground on the number of homeless.
The small amount each government allocate present & past . It's enough to outpace the growth rate of homeless.
Bye the time the public housing projects are built the numbers of people needing them has increased far more than numbers that are built each time .
The numbers of homeless are growing large by the day in this case .
Small village type living community,s set on crown lands throughout Australia is the only answer with Donga homes that are rapidly produced is to the only way to make ground on these numbers .

A better solution to the homeless problem is to send refugees to country towns that are currently dying from old age, these towns need revitalising and we could make it mandatory for refugees to move to these towns.
