Definitely one of the best action movies ever made, with a flaming good soundtrack by possibly the best action director ever. As much as I love Chow Yun Fat as an actor, Tony Lung Chui Wai stole this film...
That scene where he’s screaming on his boat is the BEST

Watching these movies in the 90s was something else.
I remember being jaw dropped watching it. Maybe there were other action movies that did something like this before but this was something new and it was done so well. All the John wick, marvel, the raid and other modern action movies are because Hard Boiled came first.
