    okay so I have been watching you for about a year now. Your videos literally make me happy. I get excited to make your recipes or a version of them. I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian bu I do love to incorporate vegan/vegetarian meals into my day or week. Your recipes help me to get more veggies into my son and my diet! I start drinking matcha lattes because of you! I would always get them from whole foods. I bought some matcha and it has been sitting in my fridge. I decided to make a version of your matcha lattes using pumpkin pie spice, coconut butter, and stevia. I blended it together like you do and let me tell you I AM IN LOVE!!! Thank you so much for making these videos for us. Love love love you!

    I tried the energy bites and WOW they are amazing !!! I can't stop eating them!! I couldn't find quinoa crisps at my grocery store so I used riced crispys and instead of dipping them into melted chocolate I just added some dark chocolate dairy free chocolate chips and they were AMAZING! Your mom knows what's up! totally worth the mess😂 Also if you make these ADD THE SEA SALT ON TOP! It's a must!!!!😍 thanks for the awesome recipe😊

    Am I the only one tripping out about adding zucchini to a smoothie bowl recipe??? I imagine that it gives it a smooth/thick consistency, which so far I only know of banana, mango, and papaya to do that. Definitely going to try that today.

  • @michelleammons8081

    I do love the ideas from your blog, and I am just now, after years of lifestyle changes for the better, thinking about veganism. I have tried the smoothie bowl from this blog post, and it seemed to be too much food. Am I doing it wrong, or is it really a big bowl? I used one zucchini, a little broccoli, about a banana, and some blueberries. I did add a splash or two of soy milk because I was trying to help my blender along, and I feel that this may be the problem, but I may also be underestimating the proper amount. could you let me know about how many ounces the finished product should be. Thank you. Michelle.

    Your food is ALWAYS so delicious looking. I love your channel. I am transitioning to plant based eating. I'm a little anxious because I really would love to make some meat alternatives like seitan but have a gluten and soy sensitivity. Do you know of any substitutes for wheat gluten I could use in recipes?

    I gotta try the smoothie bowl with zucchini! So far I only tried adding it to my oats and making muffins with it. I can't eat bananas atm, cause they make my skin break out and this could be a good alternative 🙌🏼

    • @Simplyquinoa

    • @phoebechuhe3698
      @phoebechuhe3698 Před 7 lety

      No, that's juice. When you juice fruit/veggies, you remove the pulp aka the fiber. But smoothies just blend up the whole fruit. The fiber is still there :)

    • @Simplyquinoa
      @Simplyquinoa  Před 7 lety

      +Heldan fiber is still there in smoothies, but not in juices. When you're eating the whole fruit (and not removing the pulp), then fiber is still there!

    God allows people to kill animals to protect human life or to provide clothing. (Exodus 21:28; Mark 1:6) The Bible also says that humans may kill animals for food. “Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you,” says Genesis 9:3. Even Jesus helped his disciples to catch fish that they later ate.-John 21:4-13.

    • @laowyn4414
      @laowyn4414 Před 7 lety +1

      No Ast Being vegan is not only about not eating animals because it's wrong, one can be vegan because of health or environmental issues. A vegan is not disobeying God's law if you think about it, it's another way to respect all the things He made for us :)

    • @haley-jokenny2468
      @haley-jokenny2468 Před 7 lety

      Genesis 2:16 NIV
      [16] And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden..."
      The original intent when man was first created was for human beings to eat a plant based diet from any TREE in the garden, not any animal. Humans were only told to consume meat after the flood because it was necessary to help repopulate the Earth. However, the original intent before sin was for us to eat plants. Additionally, as we have clearly repopulated the earth, eating meat is no longer necessary for survival and is therefore done for taste/enjoyment purposes only. Killing animals for enjoyment is wrong. Exploiting God's creation for enjoyment is wrong.
