    I was considering one of these. I pulled the trigger on a Bobcat CT2035. They have really good deals on Bobcat tractors right now. If that wasn't the case I probably would have bought this tractor.

      Sounds like the same story as last time. It's a big risk but hope for the customers and resale value of their purchase it happens. Guess we will find out in 10 years. Seen a lot of brands come and go and hate see the consumers get the bad end of the draw. One of the reasons I tell customers to look at the Big 5: Massey Ferguson, John Deere, CaseIH, New Holland and now Kubota are all long term companies. Dealers may come and go but the brand will remain and your investment will be protected.

      I wouldn't Buy a Bobcat until they start building them in house like they say they will. Until they build a tractor factory I personally wouldn't count on them sticking in the tractor business. I'm not anti bobcat. i love their skid steers and have used them for a long time. I know Iseki builds a lot of the small Masseys, but they are almost part of AGCO at this point. I think AGCO even sells Iseki branded stuff in Australia.

      @@VahrenbergImplement I don't think I got the bad end of the deal on this tractor. Its price point blows away the competition and is a better performing tractor than any other brand that i looked at. Bobcat has been in business since the 60's. I highly doubt they are going anywhere.

    Like the location of the fuel tank and tool box vs the Kioti but I’m not a fan of the bucket control lever, 400lb less bucket lift capacity, plus I heel toe tranny stinks compared to separate F/R Pedals.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +2

      You have to measure Loader Lift Capacity at the same spot Pivot Pin or Bucket Edge and also how high they lift. The higher the lift the harder it is to lift' We did a video to better understand loader lifting capacities: czcams.com/video/Ku4235ImZDQ/video.html Massey Ferguson is very conservative on their rating and some brands out their are overrated.
      Massey Ferguson offers different models of tractors. If you want side/side Hydro Pedals in 25HP look at the GC1725MB or the 1526 they offer side/side pedals where the 1800E our economy tractors have single treddle pedal design. Or you can step up HP and get the 1800M Premium Series and they are side/side pedals too!

    After using for two years I generally like this unit. However, there are some irritating features: One fuel filter is located UNDER the tractor so I changed that location first chance I got. Next, the hydraulic fluid sight glass in the rear casing is a joke. When the fluid isn't showing in the glass you have no idea if the fluid low or too high. Where's the dipsitck?????? There rear lights are mounted on the outside of the roll bar which makes them prone to be easily knocked off or broken. The step for footing is too close to the unit...would work for a 3 y.o.! The air filter is exorbitantly expensive. It should have come equipped with rear aux hydraulic hookups for a box blade top link, for example. Yeah, I'd have paid an extra $500 for that feature. All in all a good unit, but with some annoying features.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      Understand...no company builds a perfect tractor fit every user. Some love the sight glass so they don't have to pull dipstick to look. Walk up and see if it need oil or not. Anywhere in the sight glass is fine for level. Rear Lights are required for tractor manufacturers to have Extremity Lights so other motorists know how wide the vehicle in front of them is. Yes it does make them prone for damage if you get close to trees. They try to keep steps narrow inside all the different tire widths so they don't hit when working near buildings, trees, etc. Be like the lights and people not like damaging their steps. Hydraulics are an option...we sell maybe 1 out of 50 compacts with remote valve. If your not going to use remotes no use making everyone pay for them...if Massey Ferguson added them it would raise the price of the machine even higher. 1 Set of Remote Valves is like $1500 for the Parts Cost. Some of the annoyances are there for a reason. Thanks for the Review. Tell us what you like about the tractor.

    This a very nice Massey-Ferguson ! But if I had to choose between this model or the M-F 1526 I would choose the 1526 more HP power at the engine & PTO & it's great that this series 1825E went with Iseki power train & that makes this a more desirable full size compact ! Hello, can this be ordered with... R1 tires with spacers and loaded. Extra hydro for grapple. And a heated cab? Also can a backhoe be added that is not a 3 point one? The extra length would make it difficult to load on a trailer.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +1

      RA Ag Tires are available option. I would recommend Wheel Weights versus fluid. Fluid reduces tire traction and more expensive if you have to work on a tire. 3rd Function Hydraulic Kit is available for the loader. the 1800E Series do not have a Factory cab but I think Curtis Industries are building Cabs for the 1800E and can have heater installed. Backhoes are available from Massey Ferguson that are subframe mounted and quick detach. Depends on your trailer size and length....they build all kinds of trailers.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 4 lety +1

      It's simple. All Compacts & Small Utility the First 2 Numbers are the Series. The Second 2 Number are Engine HP. Except the GC is Garden Compact 17 is the series and 23 is HP for the GC1723E. GC1725M is the 17 Series 25 Engine HP Model. E is the economical Models, Mid is the Mid Speced and S Series are the Superior Features of the Larger Tractors. this Numbering system is for the GC, 1500, 1700, 1800 & 2700 Series Tractors from that model on up to the 8700S Series the first 2 Numbers are Series like all models then the Last 2 Digits you Add a "0" and that is the Engine HP. So 2604H is 2600 Series 40 Engine HP. The "H" is for Heritage Model. 8737S is 8700 Series 370 Engine HP Superior Version, 5711S is 5700 Series 110 Engine HP Superior Features, we also have the 5711in the Global Series that is 5700 Series but without the S is a Mid Spec Offering. THe M is coming soon. But it's 110 Engine HP too. Hope that helps learn the system which is changing with the New 8S Series just announced and now will be 8 Series, S Superior Features and then Engine HP. SO 8S.265 is going to be the new system coming in the future.
