- Greer Ranch (aka the Nursery) has so many good trails, but two of the gnarliest are TMB DH and Insidious.

He's MTB Alan and if he can have a rad day on a bike humming a custom tune shredding down Insidious...so can YEWWW!! 🤙
LOL! Totally!
Funny how singing down a trail works sometimes. I do this often as well 😂.
Ha! IKR. Although, in an upcoming video, I crashed because I was distracted by tryna compose lyrics on the trail. 😂
Great video Alan. I'll be singing "don't miss the jump" next time I'm riding there. Good job on TMB by the way. It's a gnarly trail.
LOL! Mission accomplished.
Thanks. TBH, I'm tryna decide which is gnarlier: TMB DH or Insidious.
@@mtb_alan My vote would have to go to TMB DH. I think the initial rock gardens are tougher, plus all the jumps in the mix...
I can see that. 🤘🏾
Alan is CZcams in human form 😂 so many good sounds in this one I love it 👌
😆 🙏🏾
Recognized a few of those passerby guys... I was the old guy (71) who went down 'Distortion' on the Black Ozark Trail on 4/2/24
🤘🏾
Good stuff Alan!
Thanks!
@@mtb_alan You'll have to check out the two new trails that will be open hopefully by next summer. Aaron's been working hard on his and it's coming along really nice, I took a few weeks off but after the rain I'll be out there to continue on as well. He's a been a beast single handedly doing one and helping me too. So, Shout out to him for that.
Oh yeah! That'll be rad!
Next up on X94.2 it's Empty Bee Alan with "Bah nah nah ner ner ner!", the hot new single from of his followup album: Wasted.
🤘🏾😆
DUDE Have you done Luiseño Bike Park by Palomar Mountain yet?? Waiting on an injury to heal up before I go, but it looks pretty epic from the reviews...
I've not hit it yet.
I know everybody wants to appear stoked on video, but I've heard mixed reviews from people off-the-record. I plan to hit it soon and will be keeping an open mind.
How do you get to the insidious trail it looks so fun!
This is definitely the best none bike park place in SoCal for sure
With so many trails and such good design, you could easily fool someone into thinking it's a bike park. 😆
Where is that side hit hip at? I’ve never seen that there.
Up the main climb past Double D in that kind of flat area.
Question, if not for an e-bike would you normally be able to ride this many downhills in one session? I'm trying to figure out how many downhills is normal for like a typical 2 hour session with no e-bike.
At Greer on a not e-bike, depending on your fitness, you could maybe get two laps...?
Have you ridden the e+ advanced elite model? Comparison to the full fat Ebike?
Ooh la la! I got one sitting in the garage ready for a test ride.
@@mtb_alansick! Any estimate when a review will be up? I currently have a full fat but that one seems like the best of both worlds. Thinking of picking one up and selling the full fat.
I've got a couple videos queued up, so I'm not sure on the timeline, but hopefully soon. What I can say is that I've ridden one a couple times and really liked having a lighter ebike with full power.
My only hesitation is whether I'll want to deal with the extender battery for the longer rides. I do like the idea that you can make it so you only carry as much battery as you're gonna use, but the extender does take up the water bottle spot. So if you are cool with wearing your water (fanny pack or backpack), it's gonna be a great flexible eMTB.
I just hate wearing packs, so I'm gonna try to strap a Fidlock bottle onto the top tube or something.
We'll see.
I hope that helps!
Helps alot! Most of my rides with kids schedule and such tend to be shorter. I love the full power but hate the weight. Can also “strap it on” on the few occasions when I need the bigger battery. The only downside is no UDH.
Thanks!
Update: I have no issue with the range extender. The Fidlock on the top tube ain't pretty but it works well. I am really diggin' this bike.
Which Go Pro do you use?
HERO12
how do you get to thrashville?
It’s near the water tank.
Yes I am you tube 😂😂
😂 📺
TMB = “Tropang Mountain Bikers.” “Tropang” in Tagalog means “Troop.”
