Some people just say Jail as an all arounder. But we know you have city, town jails/holding stations/sub stations, then you have County jail, usually a year max unless you’re fighting a case, then you got state prisons and federal prisons. But I think people just say jail as a blanket term.

He got 3.5 years because he took the case to trial. The Feds are BRUTAL if you take the case to trial and lose. Unless you have a slam dunk case with a very high probability of winning, you should always work to get a plea deal.

The state of Mississippi gave the money to Farves charities. He was building sports facilities. The money he did personally receive for filming some commercials for various charitable organizations was returned when he found out where it came from. Favre didn't misallocate those funds.
