It's absolutely great again. Great I rebuilt your boombox a little modified two years ago, maybe you remember. I had a few questions that you had also answered for me. I wanted to use the DMS 307 v 2, but unfortunately something burned through it. One component started to smoke slightly and nothing worked anymore.

What are you using to weld the acrylic together?
do you mean glue? I used acrylic glue on the syringe to hold the acrylic together
@@PLATINUMKIT I used the word 'weld' because I have seen people use acetone to chemically weld acrylic together. Problem is with lasercut pieces this almost always results in small cracks on the lasered edges. This is why I was curious, the glue you use seems to be far thinner than any acrylic glue I have seen sofar (it looked like acetone levels of thin). Would you mind sharing the brand? Most glues that I have tried have less than desirable results.
@@xConundrumx Hi friend, this is not a problem of the glue. BTW, this is just Chloroform, or trichloromethane, very fast and effective but dangerous. When you cut acrylic with laser, the high temperature of the laser beam creates tension between edges and body of that piece. Any glue will release that tension and you will get cracks. The solution is to release that tension slowly before you glue it. After laser cut put the acrylic part into the owen and bake it four hours with 80 degrees of Celsia with a hot air. After that no cracks will appear anymore and you can glue it.
