Not too bad, especially for the price. It is a shame that Casio can't be arsed to use steel cases or mineral (let alone sapphire) for their retro watches for a multiple of the price of that watch.
I couldn’t agree more, but if people keep buying them Casio will keep making them, one of the reasons I like to look for cheaper alternatives! Thanks for watching!
Honestly the best alternative to the Casio. Far cheaper, easily accessible, branding is not obnoxious compared to some other Chinese brands which make watches in this style (I'm looking at you, Skmei...). For the price it's worth it if only to check if you like this style. If only some company made this type of watch with a stainless steel case and a decent backlight... How is yours holding up after 2 months?
Good job Chris, the watch is for sure value for the money. The size is perfect because the Casio design in perfectly balanced, and don't forget the octagonal shape, a figure that adds balance to the watch (just think about it, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak? G-Shock? The square figure with cutted edges give equilibrium to the total.) Ok, let's go back to the watch: -metal case? Really? It's a pity Casio keeps going on with chromed resin... and that's why I keep buying the '80's models instead the new reissues. -mineral glass, ok, I can survive! -horrible bracelet, ok, a shiny milanese strap will do the trick (for the same price of the watch or more 🤣 ) The only complaints I have are the backlight (now they could add it) and the missing of the countdown timer. I think I will buy one, I'm in a '70/'80's mood. And, finally a Sanda with more than 3 ATM WR! I hope the metal will be quite good, the Casio 5600 Sanda homage have 4 beautiful rusty pushers 😱 (and a soft plastic sheet instead a glass).
I think I agree on almost all of that. We get original 80s ones in job lots that still look ok 40 years later, remarkable when you think about it, astonished no one does a metal mod kit for it with Sapphire! Thanks for watching!

Agreed....they can do the bracelet but not the case?...C'mon!
